*texts between them*

George: Hey dream, I think we need to talk. I made some pretty bad decisions and I need to explain myself.

Dream: I'm just really confused is all. Why would you lie about something so serious? You could have just told me the truth and that would have been okay.

George: The truth would have led to a lot of questions. Can we just call really quickly?

Dream: sorry, out with Nicole right now,  maybe later.

George: That's okay, we can talk when you're done

Dream: maybe

George almost forgot about her. He wondered how that date went; If they were official or not. You can't break up something that hasn't been fixed yet, right?

George let that thought slip through his brain only for a split second. If Nicole truly made Dream happy, then that's all that really mattered to him. The way Dream talks about her made it seem like they were in love, and they might actually be.

The thought hurt George; he wished with everything that he and Nicole could switch places. Yet the thought also made George happy, knowing that Dream was truly happy with a so-called amazing girl.

Though they would never end up together, he Understood. Dream was straight, there was no way to change that. Dream was already basically in a relationship at this point.  From what George has heard from Dream, Nicole truly was a good person. He wouldn't want to make her upset. If they made each other happy, then he wouldn't want to do anything that could possibly change that.

He made the decision to let the power of friendship win and to try his absolute hardest to forget about some dumb stupid crush that wouldn't go anywhere in the first place. Dream and George are friends, and that's all they'll ever be.
