It had been a while since the incident happened. Everything went almost back to normal.  Both men were ignoring obvious emotions. Dream was still very confused, and George was still very in love. The both kept these emotions deep down, simply trying to avoid more conflict than needed.

Everything was going good with Nicole and Dream. They went on another date and everything went great. Or at least that's what Dream thought. George knew about it because that's all he would talk about. It was like the happier Dream was, the worse George felt.

Dream and Nicole were basically dating. Nicole was at his house everyday, and they were always together. Not only was George upset by this, but so were their fans. With Dream being busy all the time, they started streaming a lot less. They went from streaming at least every other day to being lucky if they got a stream once a week. The fans started to get nosy and question why this was happening. They all started to blame each other, assuming it had something to do with the "toxic dream stans."

Dream was unsure if he was ready to tell the fans about Nicole. Having a relationship in the public eye is scary. They weren't even technically together yet, but Dream knew that his feelings for her were strong. He wanted to talk to her about it before he even thought about telling his fan base. He texted her to come over so they could talk in person. He wasn't really sure what he was going to say or how he was going to say it, but he knew something was going to change between them after the conversation.

Once Nicole got there, they walked to the couch and Dream started talking. "Okay, so I need to talk to you about something, and I want to know how you feel about it."

Those words made Nicole both happy and nervous. She had suspected that Dream was going to ask her out soon, so she was hoping that's what this conversation was. There was also a chance that this conversation was about something bad, and that's what worried her. "Go on, I'm here to listen," she said, her voice slightly shaky.

"We've been hanging out a lot lately, and I need to ask you something important. The past month talking to you has been absolutely amazing, and I you've made me the happiest I've been in a while. I understand if you say no, but would you want to be my girlfriend?"

Nicole almost had tears in her eyes from his kind words. "Yes, I'd love to. You have made me feel the best I've felt in a while. There's just something about you that draws me to you. It would make me the happiest person in the world if I could be your girlfriend"

At this point, there were tears pricking both of their eyes, on the verge of falling. The amount of relief that they both felt was massive. Dream pulled her into a hug and they just sat there for a while, enjoying each others presence. Then Dream remembered the other question. "There's one more thing. My fans are getting worried as to why I'm not streaming as much. Is it okay if I tell them about you?"

Nicole thought about her options. She new that she was going to get a lot of hate, but she also didn't want to hide their relationship. She came to the conclusion that having a happy and healthy relationship was more important that some silly people hating on her.

"Sure, why not?"
