Meddling Part 2

When the following week rolled by, Kara found herself yet again at the office door for the one and only Lena Luthor.

Kara had found herself standing there with butterflies in her stomach. Even though this was just and assignment, Kara couldn't help but enjoy Lena's company a little too much.

"Hi Jess, I'm here to see Ms. Luthor?"

"She told me to send you right in as soon as you arrive." Jess said with a smile and nodding her head towards the door.

Kara strided over to the door and pushed the door open, the door was significantly lighter then she thought so when she opened it the door slammed open.

With the sudden noise of the door hitting the wall as it swung, Lena jumped up and yelped.

"Oh my god! Lena I am so sorry, I thought the door was going to be so much  heavier because of its size!" Kara said as she gasped and covered her mouth with her hand.

"Kara, don't worry. You'd be surprised how many times that actually happens." Lena said with a laugh once she realized what happened.

Kara was still blushing from the accident but continued to walk over to Lena's desk. At this point, Lena walked around her desk and was leaning against it facing Kara.

"Well I brought us some lunch! I hope you like Big Belly Burger." Kara said while she placed the fast food bag right next to Lena.

Kara was now standing mere inches away from Lena. She gave Lena a very quick up down. It was so quick that Lena wasn't sure if it really happened.

This made Lena smirk with interest and grab the bag desk and hold it up while leaning in slightly closer to Kara and saying, "my favourite," before winking and getting up and calmly brushing past Kara.

Kara sat here frozen for a moment while biting her lip then she was interrupted by Lena asking, "So, are you going to join me?"

Mumbling to herself Kara said, "I'd like to do more then just join you."

"What was that?"

"Oh I just said 'of course I'll come join you.' " Kara replied as she sauntered over to the couch where Lena has already set out the food on the coffee table.

Lena and Kara talked about the article like they said they would, but it led into more personal details.

Kara and Lena are sat on the couch facing directly at each other with their arms on the top of the couch propping their heads up in their hands.

"So Kara, who was your first real boyfriend?" Lena asked.

"It was definitely Emma Nelson." Kara said while sipped her pop.

"Oh! I didnt mean to assume! So when did you come out then?" Lena says while she raises her eyebrows and smirks.

"I came out when I was about 15 as gay." Kara replies before asking, "So who was your first relationship with."

"My first relationship ever was with Billy Walter. But my first real relationship was with Carla Edward's." Lena replies with a fake swooning tone.

This made the two laugh a little before Lena said, "I came out when I was 18 and leaving home."

Kara leant in a little closer and with a kinda tone she asked Lena, "were you worried about being accepted?"

"To a certain extent. I knew my parents wouldn't be okay with it but Lex didn't care. He hates me, but not because I'm gay." Lena said with a fake laugh at the end.
