Soulmates Pt 5

As Kara walked into the DEO, she was met by a smirking Alex leaning against the main console.

"So how was the rest of the night?" Alex said in an all-knowing tone.

"Well Brainy and Nia walked in on Lena and I kissing. So the cat is out of the bag." Kara replied as she approached Alex.

"Oh no." Alex said as she fave palmed.

"Yeah, Brainy is gonna tell everyone. But I guess it is what it is." Kara replied with a shrug.

"So how long has this been going on?"

"Not long, we had a talk yesterday before game night about how I'm new to this, and I want to go slow, but I want to try because she is amazing." Kara replied with a sigh of happiness at the end.

"Well, I'm glad you found her. But I need to get to know her better. She's gonna be around for awhile so we gotta be friends." Alex replied as she took out her phone.

"What are you doing?" Kara replied as she watch Alex fidget around with her phone.

"I'm getting out my phone so you can put Lena's contact info in." Alex said as she turned her phone over to Kara.

Alex had already typed in Lena's name as 'Kara's Second Half'.

Kara grabbed the phone and looked up at Alex and said, "really?"

"Hey don't change it! I'll just change it back if you do." Alex said as she smacked Kara's fingers.

"Fine!" Kara said with sass as she stopped, then started typing in Lena's phone number.

"You already have it memorized?"

"Well I thought there is a decent chance I'd smash my phone again so yes." Kara said as she gave Alex her phone back.

"I mean, fair enough." Alex replied as she put her phone back in her pocket.

"What do you plan on doing?" Kara asked.

"Ms. Luthor and I will grab a drink sometime and get to know each other." Alex replied.

"Fine. But don't embarass me." Kara said sternly.

"Pinky promise." Alex said as she held out her pinky.

The sisters link pinks and continue on with the plan for the day.

Lena was very busy that week, so she wasn't able to grab lunch with Kara, and Kara was busy every night doing Supergirl stuff. So when the weekend hit, Lena made her way to Kara's to surprise her with breakfast and flowers.

Kara was still in bed fast asleep when she heard knocking at her front door. She made her way to the door in her pj's and bed head thinking it was Alex.

When she swung the door open she was met to a nicely dressed Lena holding flowers and and a bag of food.

"Lena!" Kara said as she tried to flatten out her hair.

"Hi Kara, I thought I'd bring you some breakfast over. I know you have been very busy these past few nights." Lena chuckled as she watch Kara try to straighten out to no avail.

Kara ushered for Lena to walk into her apartment while saying, "gosh, if I knew you were coming over I would have gotten dressed! I just woke up."

"Oh I'm sorry! Did I wake you?" Lena said as she set down everything on the table with worry in her voice.

"Maybe? But I don't mind. I'm glad I get to see you." Kara said as she gave Lena a kiss.
