Honeymoon Part 1

"Toothbrushes?"

"Check"

"Clothes and socks?"

"Check"

"Phone chargers? Pajamas?"

"Check and check. Lena. I think we are all set. We have absolutely everything we need and more! Why do you think we would need... this?" Kara holds up a random tech device that Lena insists we have.

"Kara for the 10th time. We need that converter incase the capsule stops working, so I can convert the CO2 in the chamber into oxygen that way we can LIVE long enough for Alex to send a rescue ship to us."

"Okay Lena whatever you say." Kara says with a smirk and gives Lena a kiss on the cheek.

After the newly weds finish packing up their hefty bags they head over to the DEO where they are taking Kara's old ship so they can get off Earth and go see Argo.

"Don't crash it anywhere okay? You may have came here in it. But it is DEO property okay?" Alex says with a stern but loving look.

"Alex. I know how to operate it okay? We will be fine. If anything goes bad we will turn on the signal. Otherwise, we will be back in a week or two."

"Okay Kara. I love you, stay safe." She says as she hugs her sister in the main room of the DEO. "Oh! And tell your mom I said Hi please!"

"Of course! Okay bye Alex, love you too."

Lena is excited to go. It will be her first time on Argo, and she will finally get to see where Kara is from. No matter how many stories, pictures and VR simulations she can do, it will never amount to the real thing.

Kara grabs Lena's hand and they take off to the pod.

After a surprisingly short time to Lena, the ladies were flying into the atmosphere of Argo.

Lena is in awe of the beautiful city and all the Kryptonians wearing such different outfits then what she is familiar to on Earth.

"So, this is Argo."

"Yes my love, home. What do you think?"

"Kara it is absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to see it all!"

Kara leads Lena throughout all the streets where Lena looks at all the different vendors and scenes. Taking all it in.

Everyone on Argo is so welcoming to the two foreigners. Mostly because they know Kara is Alura's daughter. They greet them with welcoming smiles and offer samples of the products they sell to them.

Lena ends up buying a necklace and a shawl from a sweet old lady.

"Lena, we are here. This was my home."

Lena looks to where Kara is pointing and sees a beautiful house that has lots of windows and a lady standing in them.

Kara grabs Lena's hand and pulls her gently towards the house. Walking right in without a knock, Kara yells out, "Mom! It's Kara!"

"Kara my love! I'm so glad you came to visit us! I wish I knew you were coming, I would have prepared dinner for you and....?"

"Lena" Lena says and goes in for a handshake.

"Lena. Well if Kara brought you here then you must be important, so come here."

Alura brings Lena in for a hug, Lena at first doesn't know what to do but then wraps her arms around Alura. When Lena let's go a little Alura let's go and steps back.

"Mom, you don't have to worry. We had some snacks from the vendors as we came here. And I wish I could have told you, but as you know. We cannot yet contact Argo and you can't contact us."

"I know Kara. I'm glad you are here though!"

After a short pause Kara says, "Mom, this is Lena. I know you haven't heard of her before, but she is my wife. We got married yesterday. I'm sorry you couldn't come." Kara had a tear in her eye knowing that her mom would have wanted to be there but it was just not possible given their circumstance.

Alura had a shocked look on her face. Not because she cares that Lena is a woman. But because she didn't know Kara had an interest in women.

"Oh! Well, welcome to the family Lena. You are always welcome here on Argo. Consider it a home away from home." Alura says while grabbing Lena's hand and holding it in front of her.

"Thank you Alura, you don't know how much that means. Especially given my family. Kara's family has been very supportive of us and it is like I have a family for once."

"Well I'm sorry that your family isn't the best. Are they really bad?" Alura says not fully convinced someone's family can be as bad as what Lena is depicting.

"Oh yes. My brother tried to kill Kara and her cousin, he tried to end the world once too. My mom was backing him and she also tried to end the world through an organization she made to kill all aliens on Earth." Lena says with a little bit of monotony as she has given this speech too many times to count.

"Oh my! That... does seem a little..."

"Crazy?"

"Yes that would be good word to describe it. Well Lena, you are always welcome in my home."

"Thank you."

Kara grabbed Lena's hand and gave it a squeeze before saying, "Mom, do you mind if we go to bed? Its been an exhausting trip. And then we can catch up more tomorrow?"

"Of course, love. You know where it is."

Lena and Kara head off to Kara's old room and get settled in.

"Lena? You know I love you right?"

"Of course I do." Lena says while walking over to Kara and puts her arms on Kara's shoulders. Kara puts her hands on Lena's waist and they lean in for a gentle kiss.

After their kiss the two ladies crawl into bed. Lena laying on Kara and fell asleep.

I might turn honeymoon into a bit of a story on here. Im not gonna make it its own story though. Just in the oneshots. So be prepared for a few parts to come!
