Honeymoon part 2

The ladies have been on Argo for just under a week now. They spent the first few days seeing everything and meeting new people. Kara loves going down to the vendors and talking with everyone, while Lena quite enjoys sitting in the parks on Argo and seeing all the different wildlife and plants they have.

Kara's mom had to spend a few days at council meetings so the newly weds had those days to be alone and undisturbed.

The ladies have gone down to a restaurant that Kara remembers from when she was a child and is showing Lena her favourite Kryptonian food, oddly it is very similar to potstickers so Lena is not surprised by this.

"How are you enjoying Argo Lena?"

"Oh Kara, it is so beautiful I wish we never had to leave! There are so many different species and the culture is so unique. I quite like it here honey." Lena says to Kara with a smile and reaches across the table to hold her hand.

"I'm glad. This is home and it can be your second home now too!" Kara says with a cute smirk that makes Lena giggle and lean across the table for a kiss.

They ladies finish their lunch, pay the bill and head back over to the park where they lay in the grass and watch the sky.

Lena's head is rested on Kara's stomach and they watch as they see planets, asteroids and other space materials pass their view.

"You know, I still can't comprehend how Argo is here. Safe. And we didn't even know about it until recently." Kara says with a sad tone to her voice.

"Oh darling, it was unlikely for it exist. But the thing is, it does. And that's all we need to worry about. I know you grieved your parents and went through hard times for it. Now you can have that second chance like you wished you could have."

"I know, I'm very grateful. I wish I could bring your mom back for you Lena. I want to give you that but I know that it's impossible."

"Kara, please don't worry. I know that our time was up and I'm okay with it now." Lena says while sitting up to look Kara in the eyes.

"I just love you so much and want to make you happy."

"My love, you already do make me happy." Lena says while reaching over to hold Kara's cheek and brings her in for a long kiss.

"You know what I do like the most about here?" Lena says with a grin.

"What?" Kara replies with a hesitant look in her eyes.

"You don't have any powers!" Lena says while leaning over and poking Kara in the sides, making Kara laugh and squirm.

"Stop haha!" Kara says while Lena is still straddling her and poking her.

"Never!" Lena laughs out and finally stops.

When she stops Kara sighs with a smile and grabs Lena's hands and they take in each other. After a few minutes Lena lays down next to Kara, holding her hand and they continue to watch the sky.

After a few hours the ladies get up and start to head back to the house because the weather was getting bad. They planned on watching some movies that they had brought from home with Kara's mom. Her mom was looking forward to the night since she will get to learn more about Earth culture and what Kara likes.

Kara's mom was preparing snacks and drinks at the house while getting the movie set up.

Alura was getting worried. The girls were supposed to be back by 6pm and it was already 8pm. But Alura had no way of contacting them, she wasn't super worried because they probably were enjoying their honeymoon and lost track of the time.

When 9pm started to roll by, Alura was getting really concerned. So she rang for the chief of police on Argo.

"Hello Roen, have you or anyone seen my daughter or Lena? I know they have been visiting all over but they were supposed to be back here hours ago. I just wanted to make sure everything was alright." Alura says while looking out the window to a heavy storm.

"Well, Kara and Lena stopped by the station to say hi around 1 this afternoon. I can ask around if anyone has seen them, but as of right now that is the last time I can think of. I'll call you back shortly."

Alura really started to go into a panic. She rang up the neighbour's, friends, vendors. Everyone she knew. The latest time she got for a sighting was for 530pm. Where they were seen leaving the park only a 10 minute walk from the house.

*ring ring*

"Hello?"

"Yes, Hi Alura? This is Roen again. We cannot seem to find them. Have you called anyone else? Any ideas?"

"Yes. I was talking to a neighbor and she says that she saw them leaving the memorial park around 530pm. But its only a 10 minute walk from here. I'm just about to head out down the path to see if they are there." She says while getting her coat on.

"Alura, I will send some officers. The storm is really bad and I don't want you to be hurt while looking. There has been lightning and thunder in the area."

"Sir, with all due respect, I am setting out right now. My daughter and her wife might be hurt and I am not losing her again." With that she hung up the phone and started on the walk down the path.
