1. It's a sign

It was the Monday after Christmas and Mia could already feel it. Most of her family left and she felt lonely again. See the days between Christmas and the start of the new year were always the hardest for Mia. She loved Christmas and being around of family but she was also missing something in her life: real friends. See Mia was the most loyal friend you could think off but she never got the loyalty back. While most teens were busy planning parties she was all alone in her room watching Netflix waiting for an invitation.  

Her parents and sisters always tried to involve her into activities but always hanging with people that are not your age is no fun either. 

On Monday night, Mia went for a walk just to clear her head. When she wanted to switch the music she was listening to, she saw an add for a plane ticket. It was a flight from Amsterdam to London tomorrow morning for only €15,-. She saw it as a sign, and booked without hesitations.
She thought "No one will miss me anyway, none of my friends have reached out to me so might as well discover another country". 

Mia rushed home and without telling her family about her trip she booked an hotel and started packing her suitcase. 

Lando's season had ended a few weeks ago and he had an amazing Christmas with his family. He was slowly getting ready to host an epic new years party. He could finally party with all of his friends who he missed during the season.
