Lando warned her before going to the girls, Mia deep down knew he was right but it felt nice to have them notice her for once. So she decided to go anyway.
While Mia was getting ready for dinner, she watched Qualifying. Lando was doing amazing and he qualified P2. Mia called Lando right after qualifying and congratulated him and was super proud on him. The call didn't last long because Lando was pulled in all kind of directions and had to do interviews. He wasn't going to have a lot of time so they decided to plan a phone call after the race on Sunday.
The weather was still nice so they decided to eat outside, the restaurant was located at a square with a lot of other restaurants and there were a lot of people.
Everything felt like it used to be, Mia was having fun with the girls until all of a sudden they were swarmed with camera's and paparazzi

"Mia how long have you 2 been dating?" "Tell us about your relationship" "can you confirm your relation?" and the questions kept going while all the girls did nothing but pose for the pictures. they loved the attention and all of a sudden it clicked. The girls must have been behind these paparazzi, how else would they know about them and where she would be at this exact moment?
Mia didn't know what to do, she grabbed her purse and fled the scene.
She was thinking about calling Lando, but it was already late there so she didn't want to bother him before the race. He had to rest because tomorrow he would start at P2 so she was not about to distract him.
As she got home she saw that she received a lot of messages from people asking about her and Lando, but yet he didn't text her.... She knew the pictures would be all over the internet but she decided not to look, eventually she fell asleep while crying.
