3. And so they meet

Mia entered Joe's and all eyes were immediately on her. She was by far the youngest in the café, all the other people were probably 60+. Mia decided to sit down anyways since she was really hungry. She sat down at a small table, the only table that was still available. 

She ordered dinner put in her air-pods and opened her laptop. She enjoyed just looking at other people and enjoyed their laughter. After Mia ate dinner a guy walked into the café, someone who was her age. At that moment she was listening to Comethru by Jeremy Zucker. Lando knew all the people and greeted each and every one of them till he stopped at Mia's table. Mia was not paying attention since she was lost in the lyrics 

"These last few weeks have been exhausting, I'm lost in my imagination And there's one thing that i need from you. Can you come through, through?"

Lando tried to say hi to Mia 3 times already but she didn't hear him because of the music. When Lando toughed her shoulder Mia flinched "Hi I am so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you like that. I just wanted to say hi, since I have never seen you here before. Most of the people here have been coming here for over 20 years now. So What are you doing here? are you working?" Mia was a bit startled because this handsome boy was talking to her "You want me to be honest? I am literately pretending to be working because otherwise I would feel to awkward to be here" Mia said while awkwardly laughing at Lando. "And why is that, I can hear that you are not from around here" Lando said while looking straight into Mia's eyes. Mia said that it was a long story but Lando insisted on it and said he had all the time of the world. After properly introducing themselves to each other, Mia explained her situation back home with her friends and that she made a spontaneous trip to London. Even though Mia felt a bit embarrassed about her story, Lando made her feel good. They talked about all kinds of topics, but also that Lando was an F1 driver. Mia had never heard of F1 before so she didn't care. In that moment it felt really natural.

Lando and Mia talked all night, the café was about to close. "So what are you doing tomorrow?" Lando asked. Mia hesitated for a second but said "nothing really, I flew here with 0 things on the planning. I was thinking about exploring downtown London" Lando smiled and said "Okay than it is settled, I will see you tomorrow at 11 in front of the big ben. I will be your personal tour guide" before Mia could say anything Lando had already walked away. When she was about to pay, she discovered that Lando had already covered the check. 

Since a long while Mia finally felt some excitement again in her life.
