"No, draga mea. You won't. I won't let you. They need to give you vitamins and electrolytes so that your body functions properly. Luckily, you don't show extreme symptoms. We do it together." He kissed my hand.

"You could have asked me or even called me. I'd take you out or make you a meal. Anything." he shook his head, fighting the tears.

"You scared me, baby," he hugged me again.

"Stop making me emotional, dumbo. I'm feeling sleepy," I said, as my eyes couldn't stay open.

"Sleep. I'll bring you something to eat once you wake up," he said.

I hummed, and he kissed my forehead and nose.

I like this.

When I woke up, it was night and bubs was working on his laptop. He was sitting on the sofa in the corner.

"Hey" I rasped.

He came towards me and gave me a glass of water.

"I brought you soup and some fruits, not dragon fruit though. Let me get it from my car. I'll call the nurse," he said and left.

The nurse came and took my tests samples.

After 5 minutes, Carwyn came with soup and fruits in a bag.

"The doctor said you need to start eating slowly. I've got you fruit as well. You'll need to have a little soup and fruits," he explained while taking out the soup.

"Here." he handed me the fork and the soup box and fruits.

While I was eating, he took out raspberries and bananas.

"You won't eat?" I offered him the banana.

"I'll have it later"

"No. You have now. Please bubs. I'm sorry for running away like that. I didn't know you took me here.

Does that mean you had those guards outside?" I asked.

He took the bite of it and said,

"I knew you'd do something stupid. But I didn't know my guards were more stupid," he replied.

"Hey, I'm not stupid," I defended

"Sure" he had another bite.

We kept on talking and eating until I was full.

He sanitized my hand and gave me his phone.

"You can have it. You can also get a subscription. Or you want to watch TV?" he asked.

"TV" I replied.

"Okay. Till then I'll complete my work" I nodded and watched the crime documentaries airing on the TV.

The remote was complex, so I had to ask him for help again and again.

He flicked my forehead in the end.

So now we weren't talking. No, I wasn't talking to him.

"The doctor said they'll start medication from tomorrow," he announced.

You ain't getting any answer, buddy.

"Can you swallow meds?" he asked.

I don't tolerate abuse, stupid head.

"Are you not going to answer?" he whispered in my ear.

How did he even come here? Is he a vampire?

Eww, I don't like them. No thanks, Edward Cullen.

"I'm not talking to you buddy" I patted his head and glared at him, trying to not get affected by his action.

"Are you sure?" he asked with a raised brow

"Sure," I said with conviction.

"As in sure sure?"

"Yes. As in sure sure" he continued "But I'm sorry. I already apologized. I know I shouldn't have hit a stupid ill per-

"Mr. Araztimuño, I don't think it's funny"

"Exactly Miss Campbell, I'm not trying to be funny. I'm serious," he said and kissed my cheek.

"B-" I stopped when he started trailing kisses down my neck.

"Why did you stop?" he said. And continued the assault on my neck.

I fisted the blanket in my hand.

I gasped when he started sucking on my neck.

He is a vampire. I know it.

I tilted my head to give him access and had my hand in his hair.

He licked my neck and continued kissing. "I'm sorry," he said honestly.

"Um- I-I forgive you," I said and looked at him. He had a smile on his face while looking at the part where he was doing his artwork.

"I was kidding earlier, you know it," I explained.

"But I'm not. Not when I just tasted you" I was a bright red tomato now. Again.

I involuntarily and unattractively yawned.

"Nunc somno." I assumed he said sleep.

Either way, I slept.
