That fight was almost two years ago.
I haven't really spoken to Timothee since that day and soon I just didn't bother trying. I knew he was gone for good and it was mostly my fault. I miss him so much and think about what he said that day a lot. It hurts knowing that I was hurting my best friend and not realising it.
Right now, I am packing some of the last boxes of my stuff into my car. I'm moving out. Finally. It's time for college and although the campus isn't too far away, I decided to move into a dorm so that I wouldn't have to drive everyday and walk instead.
After driving for about half an hour I found myself a parking space and started moving my things into the dorm room. The place was quite big for a student dorm but hey, I'm not complaining.
As soon as I walked in I saw the living room and small joined kitchen. I walked down the corridor and saw three doors; one of them led to a bathroom whilst the other two were bedrooms.
The entire place was plain, there was a light beige couch, and white coffee table in the living room, white cabinets and wooden counters in the kitchen, white tiles on the bathroom floor and walls, wooden bed frames and white desks and bedside tables in each bedroom.
Great, we have plenty space for decorations.
I started on the kitchen and living room right away. I brought in some neutral coloured pillows and blankets for the couch as well as some other small plants and books for decoration. I also brought in all of the kitchen appliances and some candles so that the place feels more homey and comfortable. As soon as I was done with the kitchen I got started on my bedroom. I got out my white bedding and placed it on the mattress. Next, I got out my (f/c) throw pillows and placed them on my bed neatly along with my teddy bear that Timothee gave me for my last birthday.
I continued working on my room for a few more hours and it was really starting to come together. I added the finishing touches like my fairy lights and ornaments for my bookshelf and it's safe to say that the dorm was almost fully decorated. All that was left to do was put my toiletries in the bathroom.

Anyway now is the first day of college and I succeeded in my plans of studying architecture in New York. I figured that even though Timmy is out of my life, that won't stop me from pursuing my dreams and doing what I love. I would achieve my goals with or without Timothee. My college isn't far away from my childhood home but I still decided to move out and get my own apartment nearer the campus.
I'm currently in my room getting ready for my first lesson of the year; art.
I got dressed in a simple pair of jeans and white long sleeve with a flannel over the top. After I finished styling my hair I grabbed my bag, keys, phone and I was out the door. The weather wasn't bad for it being October; sunny yet cold, I think I'll survive without a jacket today. It was a short walk to the building I was going to have my first lesson in but I still left early with the hopes that I wouldn't get lost on my first day.
College, here I come.
(A/n) Here's chapter 1! This one is a bit shorter but they will get longer as we go. We hope you're enjoying this story as of now!
