The next day was a lovely sunny Wednesday. I didn't have any classes so I made Ella and myself some pancakes. We were getting along really well and I was super grateful I didn't get an annoying roommate.

Over breakfast I told her in detail about the project I had to do with Timothee and she suggested that we should have a girls shopping trip afterwards to make the day suck a bit less. Since I was going out with Ella as soon as I left the cafe, I decided to put a bit of effort into a nice outfit that included a low cut green top, my favourite pair of jeans and a pair of black boots.

After we had eaten the pancakes (which were delicious btw) I realised that I still had some time to kill before I had to leave so we did a little more unboxing and now the living room was really starting to come together. The walls were a bit bare but Ella had found some vintage band posters that we put up along with some LED lights so it was more exciting.

With the rest of the room decor saved for later, I grabbed my purse, said bye to Ella and left for the cafe. The dorms weren't too far away from the city centre so I decided to walk to the cafe. The city was beautiful, nothing I could ever have seen at home with the incredibly designed buildings and something unique and amazing around every corner.

I soon arrived at the cafe and saw Timothee at a table near the back of the cafe. He waved me over and I sat down.

"Hey Timmy," I said with a slight smirk, knowing how he reacted to the nickname in the past.

"You know I've always hated when you call me that," he said in a monotone voice and a bored look on his face.

"Don't lie, you love it," I said matter-of-factly as I sat down across from him.

"Let's just get started with the project," He said and rolled his eyes.

I got out my laptop and leaned over to plug it into the outlet at the end of the table. As I did so, I could feel his eyes looking down. Past my face.

"Dude, the project isn't down there," I said casually and enjoyed it as he blushed and attempted - poorly might I add - to hide it with his hair. Not very subtle.

We decided that we would stick with our own strengths - I would sketch and draw and he would paint. We discussed what we would do and what order to do it in for over an hour before I realised the time.

"I've got to meet Ella in just under an hour so we should start wrapping things up," I said as I put my pen down and closed my notebook and laptop.

"Double scheduling again I see," He said while fiddling with his own pen and avoiding my gaze. I gave him a pointed look. "Fine, fine. Go have your fun with whatever her name is," he said and put his hands up in surrender after finally looking at me.

"Her name is Ella, dickhead. She's the one who you thoroughly freaked out with your T-shirt throwing incident," I told him as I unplugged my laptop charger from the outlet.

"You have to admit you deserved it though," He said with a small scoff while he pointed his pen at me.

"I will admit no such things" I said as I picked up my charger, away to put it in my bag.

"You haven't changed. It's just like old times," He said. That made me freeze for a second.

"Don't remind me," I told him as I shook my head, putting my charger down again.

"Well they weren't all that bad, right?" He asked and looked at me, noticing that I stopped putting my things away.

"No I guess not," I started, "Remember that time we managed to skip a whole day of school and go to the cinema instead?" I said with a laugh as I looked down at my hands which were now resting in my lap.

"One of our finest achievements I'd say," He added and we both just sat there, chuckling to ourselves for a moment before I started to pack up to leave again. A slight look of sadness crossed Timothee's face before I heard a quiet; "Leaving so soon?"

"Yep, I'll be late if I don't go now," I said and resumed my actions of putting my laptop charger and notebook in my bag.

"Look who's so concerned if she's late," he stated in a snarky tone.

A slight flash of anger coursed through me and I sat back down suddenly.

"Okay I realise that we don't exactly get along anymore but we have a project that we need to finish and ace. So if you could please grow up a bit so that we can get on with this and after it's over you can go back to being your usual 5 year old self," I told him as I got up from my seat again.

"Jeez it was a joke! But yes we should put your past stupidity aside for a bit," He fired back in that same snarky tone.

He held out a hand to shake.

"Not friends but not enemies?" He asked with a small smirk.

I took his hand and shook it.

"Deal. But if you screw up on this project and I'll cut this hand off," I said nonchalantly as I gripped his hand tightly. He laughed slightly and agreed and with that, I left the cafe.
