The Flower in overalls (mcyt highschool AU)

Quite but light ✨ 15✨

3de POV

it was deep into the night the entire campus quiet, except for in the dream SMP household where a wave of insomnia had stricken some of its residents. Sapnap was tossing and turning in his sleep waking up in a panic. the same goes for all the residents of the mansion.

on the other side of the campus, Fundy lays awake staring at the ceiling for hours. He always had trouble sleeping but tonight was worse than normal. Sighing the brown-haired guy gets up and walks over to the wide window opposite the room sitting down on the cold window frame. Looking outside everything is dark the only light being the moonlight, which creates shadows that seem to dance in the night.

looking out further he can see the gardens in the back, illuminated by the moon. Even in the dark and from such a distance the flowers seem to glow in the moonlight creating an almost magical atmosphere.

Smiling at the beauty of the night a soft light in the distance catches Fundy's eye. The light is not natural but very surely there. And as sudden as it had appeared the light goes disappearing in the gardens.

being curious he grabs his coat and makes his way out of the dorms walking over the pathway to the garden the shadows of trees surrounding him. the only sound being the faint swooshing of the trees in the wind. Shivering softly he can see a figure standing in the distance a shadow enveloping whoever it is because of a candle-like light. the closer he gets the more he can make out who is standing there and that the light is coming from a candle.

finally reaching the mystery person he stops for a second blinking rapidly to make sure he isn't hallucinating. outside of the big hedge, the wall is standing Daisy holding a white candle and backpack wearing a pair of shorts and an oversized white t-shirt. good night fundy what brings you here at this hour she says her tone dreamy and soft it is just a little louder than a whisper. i-i Uhm... I couldn't sleep but dais you shouldn't be here at this hour fundy worriedly whispers stepping closer to her. the only reaction he gets is a light chuckle and extended hand. COnfused he expects and softly gets pulled along into the garden.

almost silently the two walks true the gardens until they arrive at the destination daisy wanted to go to. Pulling out the blanket from the backpack she packed earlier while meeting Ranboo she gently places it over the grass making sure not to crush any flowers. sitting down she pats the spot beside her for fundy who still feels a little on edge with the stage situation. sitting down hesitant he looks up at the dark sky before looking at his companion.

the girl's hair is almost glowing and so are her eyes who look like lapis stone shining in the light. a soft smile is playing on her lips the rest of her expression calm as if she has sat in the dark hundreds of times. I love it when it's dark the world just seems so much more friendly daisy sighs a soft wind hitting her hair and face. what no it doesn't its scary fundy says chucking lightly.

turning to face her friend she just smiles slightly. Everything seems scary when we make it scary, like when you have a bad dream it only gets scary because your brain thinks it's scary when in fact nothing can actually hurt you the purple hair girl smiles. Your not convincing me Dais her friend chuckles a little scared making Daisy laugh. Well then let me show you how pretty the dark can be Daisy smiles taking the candle and blowing it out before looking at the sky.

confused fundy follows her gaze and slowly his eyes start to get used to the dark. when there used to the dark stars slowly start to light up making the brown-haired gasps the sky is now filled with stars. sighing happily daisy gets wrapped in a hug by her friend and leans against him. Both teens are staring at the sky a feeling eternal and relaxed. told you it's not scary daisy whispers softly nuzzling even closer to the friend because of the cold breeze. The two sit in the garden until fundy falls asleep.

Fundy POV

I wake up to sunlight touching my face and sitting up I get confused. I'm not in the garden anymore but in my bed in the l'manburg dorms. Rubbing my eyes I try to remember last night, the only thing I know is falling asleep in the garden with daisy beside me. Looking around I notice some lavender on my bedside table together with a piece of paper that says "  Everything seems scary when we make it scary" making me smile. A goofy smile plays on my face and I let myself fall back into the bed looking up at the ceiling. 

3de POV

In the years after the night in the garden, Fundy never suffered from nightmares again and instead, every time a bad dream would try to taunt him it would get replaced with the memory of the stars and daisy beside him in the garden.

this is just a nice fluffy filler chapter while I think out what I really want to do with this story I do have some ideas but nothing is certain yet.

I'm also just rewriting some of the early chapters so that is coming along too.
