"I - I didn't do it," stammered Jane. "I couldn't have! You have to believe me! I helped you fix your ship! How could I be the killer?!" We all just stared. "I'm sorry Jane," I said. "But we can't let you go." Then she did the one possible thing that could make her situation even worse. She ran away. "Shit," me and Brian said almost in unison.
We spent the whole night looking everywhere for her. We didn't want to believe she was the killer. We really didn't. But we had to. There was no evidence to suggest that she wasn't. I couldn't stop thinking about the person we thought she had killed. It was James, possibly the friendliest guy on the ship. He was always kind and never complained about anything. He couldn't even bump into you without saying sorry. As hard as it was to accept, Jane had to be punished.
Then I got an idea. Even if Jane couldn't be found by us looking. Everyone gets teleported to the cafeteria during emergency meetings, including Jane. So I ran down the hall as fast as I could and slammed the button down. Sure enough, Jane appeared straight away. But Hector and Eleanor did not....
