Outraged was the only word that could be used to describe how we felt. No matter how much Jane denied it, we had our minds made up. We decided that her fate would be exile in space. As we heard the cargo door open and saw her body fly away into nothingness, we felt the true toll that this murder mystery had taken on us. We had all lost someone. Even the people who seemingly had nothing and no one left to lose and love. At least it was over, or so we thought.
For at that moment something terrible happened. Something that made us realize that we were wrong. Terribly wrong. For at that moment, the lights flickered out again and another body dropped dead to the floor. The mystery was not solved after all.
