CHAP 9 : IN YOUR ARMS.

"Damn girl , I am gonna miss you so much this vacation. I wish I could take you with me to Bangkok. This is the first time we won't be together." Sohee complained, clinging onto the arm of Y/n as they walked to the parking lot of their university.

Just as Sohee said, the news of her spending this vacation alone this time hurt her somewhere, but she wasn't sure if it was because Jungkook was going to Bangkok for a week after two days or whether she won't be able to spend her vacations with her best friend or both.

"Hey girl. Cheer up." She tried to boost Sohee. "You go and do a lot of shopping, click lots of pictures and have fun. You will be back in a week anyways. So let's make full of the two days we have left okay?"

"Alright." Sohee sighed sadly, "Anyways tomorrow is Taehyung's birthday. You are coming right?"

" Well he did invite me but I am not sure..you know. I don't really know him that well."

"No excuses, Y/n. It's a great opportunity to make contacts. And he's an amazing guy really. His charms are so loveable and his smile is so beautiful..damn."

Y/n smiled at the description her best friend gave with a dreamy smile on her face about her secret lover.

"I see my best friend has developed a cute crush on Mr Kim Taehyung." She teased Sohee, making her blush.

"Yeah..just like you have a cute little crush on my brother." Now it was Sohee's turn to was off her smile and make Y/n's cheeks turn in the dark shade of crimson.

"What nonsense, Sohee. There's nothing like that please." She fanned herself , trying to cool her heated cheeks.

"So you are saying that , Jungkook isn't good. He's a rude, arrogant , cold asshole like the media says?"

"No that's not what I meant. He's definitely better than what's published in the news papers. He's so well mannered and caring-"

"So you agree you have a crush on Jungkook?"

But before Y/n could say anything in defense , a deep voice interrupted them.

"Who has a crush on me?" Y/n froze in her place when she saw none other than the Jeon Jungkook standing near their cars as if he owned the place.

"Jungkook!" Sohee shouted excitedly. She ran towards him, and he welcomed her with a hug.

"Hey! What are you doing here? This was totally unexpected. "

"Yeah, my team just wrapped up our work since we needed to make proposals for our meeting in Bangkok. The team is almost ready with the presentation, we just need to give the final touches. Since we completed our work early, I gave everyone a half day today and thought I should pick up my sister." However, Sohee knew her brother and his eyes very well. Right at the night of the ball, Sohee saw the sizzling chemistry between Jungkook and Y/n. All the meetings that she planned whether in the game parlor or the beach were only instances to bring them closer. However some were successful and some were not.

Y/n remained frozen in place. She couldn't believe her eyes.

"Anyways, you were saying someone has a crush on me? Who?" Jungkook smirked mentally, but tried to keep his face straight.

"Well no other than my best friend, Y/n." Y/n squeezed her eyes shut, she just wanted the entire earth swallow her down.

"She just confessed she has a crush on you. However she says you are very cold , rude , arrogant asshole." Y/n gasped at her second statement, but she couldn't react. She could feel his heating gaze stripping her bare and she didn't have the guts to look at him and not melt right at that moment.
