(Kwazii's P.O.V.)

I ran out of the octo-shute, heading straight for the launch-bay.

I grabbed and connected my oxygen tank, preparing to jump into the water.

"Where you headed?" Tweak asked from behind me.

"I think I saw something. Just wanna go check it out," I replied quickly.

I pressed the button on my collar and my helmet went over my head.

"Don't be too long," Tweak requested, walking over to the lever on the computer desk so that you could leave.

I just nodded at her before jumping into the moon pool.

I swam and left the octopod after Tweak had opened the hatch.

I looked around, trying to spot whatever I had seen floating passed my window.

It was around mid-day, so the sun was shining on the coral reef we were parked next to.
But there were no fish anywhere.

I swam around, trying to spot any signs of life, but there was none.

I started to worry, thinking about what could have happened to all of these fish.

Just a couple days before, they were all here, doin' whatever fish do.

Maybe some giant squid came and ate them all in one bite.
I laughed at the thought, but kept looking around.

The coral reef wasn't overly huge, and I could easily swim over the whole thing.
But as I did, I noticed something that really shocked me.

A little under half of the whole coral reef had gone white. I immediately pressed the radio on my collar, calling for Shellington.

"Shelly!" I called through the radio.

"Hello?" He asked, groggy. He probably didn't get very much sleep the night before.

But this might be a bit more important.

"The coral reef is like half dead!" I started, turning around and swimming back towards the octopod.

There was a small pause before Shellington responded.

"...what?"

I rolled my eyes.

"Come look!" I exclaimed.

I was going to ask Tweak to open the hatch, but she must have seen me start to swim back.

The hatch opened and I swam inside, stepping into the room of the launch bay.

I was going to remove my helmet, but Tweak was staring at me with a strange look on her face.

"What is it?" I asked, trying to figure out what the problem was.

She walked over to me, and slid her finger across the glass.

There was an extreme color difference from the clean glass and the rest of my helmet. Where she had wiped her finger was clean, but the rest, I could see now, was a slight yellow-ish color.

"What is that?" I asked in surprise.

Tweak just shrugged, rubbing the substance between her fingers.

"Hey, I'm here," Shellington said, stepping down into the launch bay.

"Good, we need to go look at this," I said, turning around and preparing to jump into the water again.

"Hold on," Tweak said, grabbing my wrist.

It made me blush, but I shook it off.
Even though we had already confessed to each other, I still got butterflies every time I saw her.
