Mr Dave Debraux sat in his office in deep distress, having absolutely no idea what to do. He had just discovered a day before that his company has lost a lot of money and his business partners blamed him, seeming that he had everything under control. Investors were demanding their money back, threatening to sue him, others threatening to get him arrested. He had no idea what to do and he didn't have the money pay his investors back, he was as broke as they come. Not to mention his employees. He was in serious trouble, one that could destroy him and his family as well as his company. He was going to lose everything he ever worked hard for. Nothing could have prepared him for that.
Michael Caruso, one of his biggest investors came in, looking all kinds of formal. He was one respected man throughout the entire country. He was also feared because of his influence in the society and he was known for being a cruel bastard along with his son, Zayn. Wherever they went, everyone knew them and no one dared to mess with them. Their appearance spoke for itself especially Michael, he had scary appearance while his son was known for having a reputation with women. It was no secret, Zayn loved everything that had a skirt or rather he loved everything that was under the skirt. A bit of cliché to be precise.
Michael sat down in front of Mr Debraux, looking as dignified as always, he had a strong aura.
"Dave, my friend. How are you holding up?" He asked.
"I am fine," he replied.
"Did you do it, Dave?"
"What?" Dave exclaimed.
"Did you steal the money?"
"No, of course not. How can I steal from my own company, Michael? You don't think I have the guts to steal eight million pounds, do you?"
"There's a start for everything," Michael replied dryly.
"Michael, you know me. I would never do something like this, ever."
"I don't know. I mean everything points tback at you."
"How did I not see this? Everything was fine and out of the blue we lose eight million pounds. How?"
"How did the meeting go with the other shareholders?" Michael asked.
"I have to pay it back. How? I have no idea. I don't have that amount of money lying around waiting to be used. If I don't pay it back, I will lose everything I've worked hard for all my life."
Mr Debraux was really in distress. He was about to lose everything. He was busy complaining, pouring himself out to Michael. Little did he know that Michael had a plan to save him from his problem. But his plan would come at an excessive price.
"I may have plan to get you out of this problem," he mutter.
"What?"
"I can give you the money, all of it, in cash even."
