Max was at Slendy's door and tried to open it with his manipulation powers. His powers were psychic-based, which could potentially counter .Exe's demonic locks. Snake Eyes looked on as Max tried to open the locks, she was still a bit angry at the whole situation. Max wasn't to blame for the creatures attacking, but she thought this island was a safe place. She's been on the run for too long, she just wants peace. The crew that stayed behind with Slendy heard the doors open, Clarity and Colette looked down the two CreepyPastas.

"Guys, it's Eyeless Jack and Seedeater! They both look hurt! And Jack looks bad..." The redhead girl said.

Sally walked over and saw them too, she held onto her teddy bear and whimpered a bit, seeing her family hurt. Clarity and Snake Eyes went down looked at the damage. Seedeater in his guttural few words explained he was attacked by the Blank Beasts. This was starting to get to the reptilian girl, three monsters now? And they did this to Eyeless Jack? They even managed to get Seedeater limping a bit too. Her brain was deep in thought as she helped Jack to the infirmary, luckily Dr.Smiley was still in, thank the Lord. Max looked on and saw Jack and Seedeater, anger started to fill his mind, these things were here, hurting the people he loved. His eyes shifted from lime green to a crimson red, his manipulation turned from black to a dark red, and soon the hold that Sonic.Exe had on the door broke. The gang cheered but it was immediately interrupted by the door swinging open, and a very, VERY angry Slenderman standing there. The sound of static filled the area as black tendrils started to cover the walls, floors, and ceilings, like spiders crawling all around.

Slendy looked down and saw Sally and Max, seeing them both made him calm down. He ruffled the boy's hair, congratulating him on being able to break such a strong lock. He hugged the scared little girl, assuring her everything will be ok. He asked what happened to Eyeless Jack and Seedeater as he heard they were injured. Max explained that he did not know, and said they went to the infirmary. Slendy teleported off, leaving the last three Pastas together to talk about the current events. In the infirmary, Dr.Smiley was working on Jack's wounds, stitching up his deep bites and patching up the gashes. Slendy appeared, making the doctor jump, which in turn made him pull the needle too hard. Jack screamed which was able to jolt him out of his shocked state.

"Oh. Well, that's one way to get him to wake up." Smiley said, playfully.

Slendy apologized and looked at Jack, trying to get an explanation of what happened. Eyeless proceeded to weakly explain what has happened. Once he finished, Slendy was very concerned, but he didn't show it, no reason to have others getting more concerned. Snake Eyes, seeing the whole situation proceeded to turn and leave. She headed towards the entrance of the Hotel, which alerted Max.

"Snake Eyes? Where are you going bud?" He asked as he followed her.

"Max. I don't mean to be rude but, this isn't working for me." She replied, looking away.

Snake's tone sounded disappointed with a tad bit of upset thrown in.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, this place was supposed to be safe for me. And the day I arrive all Hell breaks loose? That's not what a safe place is supposed to be like."

Snake Eyes walked out the door, but Max being too stubborn for his good, followed the reptilian girl, not wanting to lose a friend he tried his best to convince her to stay.

"W-Wait Snake Eyes! It's normally not like this. Sure we have a few bad days, but nothing like this happens regularly bud." Max explained, his pleads wanting to get through to her scaly heart.

"Look, Max. It's fine, ok? I've been on the run for years, it's not like anything will change if I continue running. Besides, if humans are behind this attack like that pony said, I want nothing to do with it. You may not know it, but humans are ruthless creatures." She explained.

Max looked down, his interaction with humans was very limited, he's only ever met one, and that was on a very rare occasion when he was younger. But from what Slendy has told him, humans do tend to be very bad. As he looked at Snake Eyes again, he tried to sympathize with her. He reached deep into his heart to try to convince the cold-blooded girl.

"I might not know how humans are. But I do know one thing. It's that you keep fighting. No matter what life throws at you, you have to stand strong. You've been on the run for so long...I think you might have forgotten that."

"But what if I don't want to keep fighting? What if I'm tired of it? You don't know what it's like. To have to keep running to avoid torture. To have to stay hidden for your safety. To have no friends to have your back." Snake Eyes replied.

Max paused for a second. The wind blew through the air making the leaves and grass sway gently as the two CreepyPastas stood there in silence. Snake Eyes felt her chest get tight, she was never one to cry, but emotions were being put to the test right now. But she refused to let a single tear come out of her eye. Max thought to himself, but then he realized something.

"You're right. I don't get it. But I do know one thing."

Snake Eyes looked over and saw a friendly hand extend towards her.

"It's that you DO have a friend. One who's always got your back from now on." Max said, a smile on his face being seen.

Snake Eyes looked at his hand, she was confused. Why was he still so persistent on being nice to her? Her brain rattled as she tried to understand the whole situation. Before she could make a move, Slendy appeared with Colette and Clarity, making both Snake and Max jump backwards.

"Didn't mean to startle ya both!" Colette said, giggling.

As the two Pastas recovered, Slendy explained that he had a plan to get all of the others back to the island. But it wasn't going to be easy. While everyone was doing their own thing, Slendy did a quick teleport, seeing where everyone was going. Once he did, he teleported to the Mainland and saw what was awaiting the supernatural entities, and it was not good.
