On the Mainland, the location is unknown, but the Humans were already planning something.

"Alright, Doctor. How is the project going?" One mysterious figure asked.

"Our projects have been very successful so far. The first instance of the Adapter has given us a lot of data so far. Thanks to our more advanced technology, we have been able to view DNA samples without having to go back to the Island."

The figure proceeded to pull up images on a projector, showing the entire room of people things they have never noticed before. The monitor had a bit of static to it, but after some tweaks and turns, they were able to get it to stop.

"As you can see. Some of these creatures' molecular structures and DNA bases are very foreign, ranging on the edge of scientifically impossible. But to my team, impossible is a relative term. To a child, riding without training wheels is impossible."

The crowd mumbled and talked to each other as the lecture and presentation continued.

"Using our research and data on genes and how to manipulate them to our own. Our experiments use a lot of adaptable animal genes to rapidly adjust to the situations they're thrown into. This is our greatest test yet, and I believe we all can agree with the fact that our Adaptive Beasts are the best line of defense against these...unnatural entities."

One of the other shady figures stood up, his badges glimmering against the projector light.

"Doctor. Your research has been outstanding thus far. We've learned more about these "CreepyPastas" through your team than any of our scientists and researchers." He said.

"Thank you, General. We will continue to build on our countermeasures, as long as you keep providing us with the funds. If we could get a hold of a live sample, we could do much, MUCH more. But we will need a lot of force." The Doctor explained.

"Why not use more of your Adaptive Beasts?" a person in the audience asked.

"Because our Adaptive Beasts can only be used one at a time. You see, we did make a minor...KINK in the gene splicing. It can reproduce asexually, meaning it can make more of itself. This wouldn't be a problem if we didn't use genes to help with accelerated growth for the original one. If all of our Adaptive Beasts were to get loose, they would spread and grow. Eventually taking over the west coast." The Doctor explained, scaring the rest of the crowd.

"I see. Well, then you keep the rest of those things on ice." The general replied.

The Doctor nodded, and just as the meeting ended, another individual ran in, holding papers, looking very panicked!

"Sir! Sir! We have a major situation!

The General and Doctor followed the nervous man to a large room filled with monitors and panicking people. Commands were shouted, "Fire!", "Keep firing!", "Do NOT let them advance any further!"! It was almost a mass panic. The General looked up at the monitor and saw to his horror, the army of CreepyPastas marching towards the mainland on their stone bridge.

"General! What do we do?" One of the scientists asked.

The General stopped and pondered on the situation that was unfolding, he knew if they reached the Mainland, thousands would be lost, possibly the whole country.

"We need to launch a Nuclear Strike!" Another scientist said.

The Doctor grabbed her shirt collar and held her back.

"Are you MAD!? A Nuclear strike this close will cause casualties of the highest degree! And even worse? Our citizens have no idea of the existence of these monsters, and if they get word of a Nuke going off, they either are going to suspect those CreepyPastas or think we are under attack by another country!" She shouted at the female scientist.

What made the situation worse is that some of the monitors were having static issues, which would compromise their field of vision, making it harder to see if their attacks were even landing or making a dent!

"We need to evacuate the nearby cities immediately. ETA till those things reach our land?" The General asked.

"Estimated time is thirty minutes, fourth-two seconds."

The General sighed a bit, he knew that would not be enough time to evacuate nearly one hundred thousand people, but he had no choice. He was about to initiate a city-wide evacuation but he was stopped.

"Wait, General. I might have a solution that will result in minor casualties and not a city-wide evacuation." The doctor said.

The General looked at her and decided to listen in on her idea. The Doctor proceeded to pull up a map of the city and circle in the area.

"If we evacuate these areas only, I can release a few Adaptive Beasts, with those, combined with Military forces. We may have a slight chance of killing them.

The General thought about it, it was a risky move, what would the plan be for these Adaptive Beasts after they got the job done? As the cold reality of what's coming hit the General, and he heard that he only has twenty-eight minutes left, he decided to go with the Doctors' plan. As the evacuation alert was situated towards the coast of Santa Monica, the Doctor went off to her laboratory to release two of the Beasts. General looked on at the monitor and took out his cross, praying that God has mercy on their souls.

As the coast evacuated, many people were confused, scared, afraid of what was coming. Why was it only the coastal areas that were being evacuated?

"Mommy, are we in trouble?" A little girl asked.

"Sweetie I'm sure it's just going to be some big waves coming in. Nothing more." The mother replied, comforting her child.

"Adam where are you? Come on little fox, we don't have time to dilly-dally!" A man said, holding a suitcase filled with essentials.

A dark-skinned boy slid down the stairs, holding his suitcase. He quickly ran out the door with his family as he saw the sky darken a bit like a storm was coming. As the family got in the car, Adam looked at the beach, he wasn't sure what it was, but his instincts were telling him something big was coming. The family was able to get out of the house before the Emergency Alert went out, they predicted it somehow, and even convinced their neighbors to leave at the same time.

"Hey, Kitsunes. You were right, the emergency alert did go off!" one of the neighbors said, getting in their car.

"You stay safe ok? I don't know what's coming but you better be back when it's over so we can go out for a drink!" The father said, smiling.

As the families got in their cars and drove off, the rest of the civilians started to pack. An invasion was coming, and these monsters don't take mercy.
