Liam and Zayn both stand outside staring at the pastel blue color door, both confused since not a single voice could be heard from the other side. It looked like a normal dormitory. It was in the same dormitory as there. Just the different floors. Zayn looked at Liam as they both scowled, not many people were outside.
"Are you sure this is the one?" Zayn asked sarcastically. Liam shrugged and looked around no one was in the hall. None of them made a move to knock on the door. Both looked at each other and finally, Zayn knocked.
He knocked a few times but no one opened the door. He scowls at Liam and turns the other way. " maybe we should leave?" He suggested as Liam tried to argue back. Someone opened the door, a bright light blinded them with some fading music. They closed their eyes for a few minutes. They both open their eyes to find a led with bright blue eyes opened the door. Who they recognize as Louis.
"Lima bean you come!!" He dragged Liam with him, ignoring Zayn in the process. Zayn awkwardly stood there and thought about just turning around and returning to his room but Liam glared at him. So, he just walked behind them.
As the door closed, Louis dragged Liam into the other room where the music was blasting. The whole room was decorated with disco lights and fairy lights. Louis keep on speaking to Liam who just looked at him with a smile while being dragged to the inside room. Zayn rolled his eyes at his friend and walked in a random direction to find the kitchen. Ignoring the urge to cover his ear and run out of the room cause of the loud music. The reason is caused he hasn't been to a party in a long time. He doesn't even remember the last time he wants.
After bumping shoulder and knocking a few people's drinks later Zayn finally found his way to the kitchen where a few people were making out it wasn't crowded but it had a massive space with drinks and food.
The arrangement for drinks and food was done nicely. All the drinks were on one side, even the alcohol drinks vodka, rum, whiskey, wine, and beer were separated from cocktails The Sidecar, Gin Fizz, Mojito, The Classic Margarita, Negroni, Mulled Red Wine.
While the food was on another side. Meatballs, Potato Skins, Sausage Rolls,
Chocolate Truffles, Chicken Empanadas, Steak, and Cheese Quesadilla, Parmesan Crusted Baby Potatoes, Chicken Tenders.
Zayn pours himself a cup of rum and tried some food in the meantime. He took a seat near the kitchen countertop and finished his food looking for Liam and studying the room. He nods in understanding when he found what he was looking for, A voice cancellation device attached behind the door.
Zayn throw away the plastic plate and ignored the three people who were trying to talk to or more obviously trying to hit on him. Feeling bored he pocketed his hands and looked for Liam to inform him that he was leaving.
As he passes by a room he saw a masculine boy trying to force himself on a curly boy in a corner. He doesn't want to strike the attention towards him but he wasn't that much of a bad guy. He walked towards them but in a blink of a second. The curly hair boy flipped them over while the other guy looked shocked.
Zayn stopped and stood looking at the curly hair guy suspiciously. The curly-haired guy whispered something in the other guy's ear and kneeled him between his legs and Zayn could tell it was strong cause the guy fall on the floor holding his crotch.
Zayn was impressed by the curly-haired boy as he tried to walk towards him. His phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled it out and it was him. He walked out of the room as soon as he could trying to find Liam but he couldn't he shots him a text that he is leaving.
Liam didn't answer it away. So, Zayn walked towards the stairs it was lonely and peaceful no one was there. He took a seat on one of the stairs and answer the phone.
"Hey, boss," Zayn said in a serious voice, his face void with any expression.
"How did the deal want? And who is taking care on the behave of your? " The guy on the other side asked.
"The other party has already received their container. The payment is done too. On the behave of me Jacob is dealing with the westside business and Joshua his twin is dealing with the north side. The other two parts are under Liam's control." Zayn explained in a low tone. Look around if someone is there. He heard some footsteps and told the person on the other half to wait for a few minutes as he stood up from his place and walk towards the garden outside the building.
A cold breeze was flowing, it was chilly outside. Stars shining bright high in the sky. Moon didn't have a plan to show his face tonight. Zayn looked at the sky and back at the bench that was a few steps away from him.
"The legal business is being handled by you. Which I'm not so happy about but since it's your decision I support you. If you need any help remember I am just a phone call away. I hope my other assets are helping you" Zayn replied after a long pause. The guy on the other side just hums in the reply.
They both stayed silent for a few moments, a comfortable silence falling upon them as they both just looked around each other and heard each other's breath on the phone. None of them made a move to break the silence but after a few minutes Zayn finally spoke up.
"I miss you, dad."
"I miss you too champ."
"Don't miss me too much yeah?" Zayn chuckled while his father just smiled on the other half.
"How can I not? Haven't stayed away from you in a long time." His dad replied with an emotional tone. They both talked to each other about anything but nothing.
They both and him are the only family left for each other after that incident and it's the first time Zayn is away from his father but he has to. His life isn't safe out there. So, his dad decided to send him away for studies. His dad doesn't even have the heart to meet his son while leaving because Zayn knows his dad would end up shading tears and he would end up staying. He wouldn't think twice before risking his life if that means staying with his dad.
"Don't stress too much yeah? Take your medicines on time. Don't even think about going out there and fighting with some law games just cause you are bored." Zayn said in a strict tone a side of him only his father know. His father just chuckled at his son.
" sure dad. Anything else you would like me to not do?" His father joked and Zayn chuckled. One more thing only his father saw. He never smiles or laughs around others, just his father. Not even Liam had seen him laugh.
"Take care of yourself champ. I'll meet you as soon as I can yeah? Don't worry about your professors. If anyone gives you trouble just tell them my name. Ohh well I know you'll take care of yourself but come on find me a daughter-in-law or maybe a son-in-law." His father said with humor. Zayn just chuckled and groans at the phone.
"Dadddd," Zayn whined in the phone, and his dad laughed at his childish antics.

Hey yo. So, I finished this chapter on 27 November 2021. I was stupid for not writing the dates under other chapters and guess what today my mom made a chicken burger and damn it was a bomb. Like wow, even the cheeses were so good. And my mom made the chicken Patty at home and it was so good. If I have to name that burger I'll name it a heart attack.
