Zayn walked through the crowd to enter the university, people were giving him glancing every now and then. In every hallway, he pass to walk to his classes every single person was looking at him and mumbling something. He frown and ignored them while speed walking towards, Luke who was waiting for him near his class. He has been missing college for 2 days and ignoring every single person alive.
A sign left his mouth as he remember he promised Harry that he won't ignore him but again and ended up ignoring him.
To be honest, he couldn't help it, the work was just too much for him, first the meeting with the local gang with whom he had a disagreement which led to him beating up half their gang with his people. Somehow his father got to know about it, so a yellowing session was prepared for him, leaving him even angrier. So, he ends up with more broken bones than needed. Paying their medical bill expenses is a different story but in end the conclusion is now they come under him, making him the underboss of their local gangs, so it was no big deal.
A voice bought him out of his thought, looking around he was already in front of his class, a frustrated Luke stood there, giving him an annoyed look. Zayn's frown got deeper as he asked him. "What?"
Luke fake smiled as he replied, "How about you tell me?"
"If I know I won't have asked you smart pants?"
"Well, you know since this morning I have 50 times, repeated the same thing." Luke said with an overly sweet voice. "wanna know what?"
"What?" Zayn asked with a bored look, walking inside the class, with an eye roll.
"That you are not dating Harry or are you?" Luke said while glaring at his back.
Zayn made a face as he turn to him, "Me dating someone?" he pointed towards himself as he settled on the back seat. "Why would they even think that?"
"Apparently someone saw you with Mr know-it-all and now the whole university is shipping you with him!" Luke explained, while himself sitting down.
"Stran-wait no I did remember seeing a guy walk past us, the following day when I was taking Harry to my room!" Zayn mumbled with a shrug. "I can't believe people are still so nosy, I thought people were ignorant this day. Guess I was wrong!"
"and I can't believe people are asking me if you two are dating. Like what do I look like to them your caretaker?" Luke shook his head in disappointment while falling back in his seat, Zayn mumbled a reply but it was of no use as it was barely upper than a whisper and soon students started to fill in and soon the bell rang, followed by professor Lupines with his dog,
Class rolled on with its own stress and progress as Lupines keep on teaching and his dog kept on biting on people's legs playfully but the dog was just too cute to hurt so all people sitting in the class ignored him and focused on the high-pitched voice of Professor Lupines.
Soon the free hour there roll in and Zayn walked around the University in the hope to find the curly-haired lead but no use as he was nowhere to be found. Waiting outside Harry's class the only one he knows, someone girl walks by giggling while looking at him. One of them even approached him and told him how they look cute together.
Zayn just glared back at her and she walked away giving him a pouty look, another one approached but she wasn't here to compliment him, "Harry didn't attend his class today but I did see him around the cafeteria a few minutes ago, he doesn't look alright."
Zayn frowned and nodded at her words, walking towards the cafeteria, he couldn't believe people think he is in a relationship just cause someone saw them together and what does that girl mean by Harry doesn't look alright? Is everything okay with him? He just shook his head to get rid of the negative thoughts and speed-walked towards the cafeteria as he finally entered the whole cafeteria when silent, looking his way mumbling and whispering.
Zayn rolled his eyes at their dramatic reaction and searched for the curly mob of heads, who was sitting with his friends, Louis and Niall. Zayn could tell that Harry know he was heard as he had stopped talking and was collecting his things that were somehow spared all over the table as if ready to fly by and now it makes sense to Zayn why he couldn't find him earlier, cause he doesn't want to be found.
Zayn walked towards him, his eyes set on the curly who was hurriedly packing his things. Zayn watches him as the predator watches its praying causes of his moves, as Zayn reached closer Harry left everything, throws his bag on the table with a mumble of curses, and makes a run for the door but Zayn is fast enough to catch him.
Zayn got a hold of his forearm and turn him around forcefully, still a permanent frown on his face. "Hey, Hey. Why are you ignoring me?" Zayn asked confused as Harry refuse to look into his eyes and Zayn doesn't know why it bothered him so much.
Harry struggled in his hold and glared at his chest as if trying to scare him. "Leave me! I don't wanna talk to you!" Harry mumbled barely a whisper looking around as people look their way.
"Can we talk somewhere else?" Zayn asked pointing toward everyone who was sitting with their ears wide open and focused on their convo.
"What word of 'I don't wanna talk to you you don't understand!" Harry mumbled angrily, struggling even more but lifted his face accidentally and made eye contact with Zayn, who frown even deeper and quickly kept his free hand under his chin, inspecting his eyes.
"You are wearing makeup?" Zayn asked still looking carefully around his eyes, his hand left Harry's chin and rub around Harry's eye who panicked.
"Thank you for the reminder but leave me now!"
Zayn shook his head and dragged Harry outside the cafeteria. Looked for an empty hallway but seems like it was everyone's free hour as no hallway was empty. He kept dragging Harry was cursing him and struggling around his hold.
"Leave me Zayn!"
"You stupid twat!"
"I don't wanna talk to you!"
"Why now?"
"You bitch, I'll beat the shit out of you if you don't leave me now!"
