" OMG WE'RE GONNA BE STUCK IN HERE" Piper yells. I could tell this was the beginning of a panic attack, so I grabbed her and just held her till she calmed down.
" Hey, it's gonna be ok. This just means we can spend more time together, and our parents can't say no to us have a multiple day sleepover! That sound pretty good to me!" I say
" Your right. How do you always know what to do in any situation? Seriously, I'm jealous." She says in a joking manner.
" well it's always good to be prepared. I'm guessing the snows gonna start soon. Let's gather a bunch of blankets, and make some food, just in case the power goes off." I say. I try to get up, but piper's still laying on me.
" Can we do that later? I'm tired." She says. My heart starts racing, for some odd reason. I could feel my palms getting sweatier by the second.
" S-Sure. L-Let's t-t-take a nap." I say. I mentally smack myself, for all that stuttering. I grab a blanket and put it on us. We lay down next to each other. I was about to close my eyes, when I felt a weight on my chest. I look down to see Piper all snuggled up on my chest. She so ador- Wait was I about to call Piper adorable? Um heck no. She's your best friend Coco... nothing more.
I got so caught up in my thoughts, that I didn't even realize how cold it got. I start shivering, which woke Piper up from her peaceful sleep. Seems like the cold hit her really fast, cause she was clinging on to me trying to get warm.
" HELP I'M DYING, I'M DYINGGGG" Piper says. I couldn't help but laugh.
" Your not dying. Do you want to now go get blankets?" I say. She immediately nodded her head and we got up. While we were walking, I noticed her bedroom's window was open. No wonder it was so cold. I went to go close it. Before I closed it I saw snow on the ground, and it was A LOT! I closed the window before snow go in.
" You forgot to close your window" I yelled to Piper. She quickly runs down the hallway, with blankets falling out of her arms. I take some of them out of her arms, as we go downstairs. I turned on the fireplace, to try warming the place up some. I ran to the kitchen, and started making things. I put a cake in the oven, had rice on the stove, and was making some fruit salads ( aka. the only salad I'll eat).
2 Hours Later...
" Wow you've made a lot Coco. I'm surprised there was that much in the pantry." She says, laughing a little at her own joke.
" well you just have to look better." I say. She gasps dramatically at what I said. I laugh and jump onto her couch.
" Shall we watch something?"
" Yes we shall" She says, turning on Home Alone 2.
About an hour into the movie, Piper moves closer to me. I notice, but try my best not to make it obvious. I move a little closer to her. Soon, we were now next to each other. I feel Piper's head fall onto my shoulder. I look over and just stare at her. She quickly looked up when she realized, but I still didn't look away. I can feel my face moving closer to hers, as well hers coming closer to mine. Our faces were now centimeters apart. I could feel her minty breath against my lips, and I-
