" Is that all the bags? I really don't want to run back to my car." I say whining, as this was the third time we went back out.
" Yes CocoPuff, it is." Piper says. She knows I hate when she calls me that.
" Screw you!" I hiss at her. She comes and hugs me from behind. She always does this, but this time it felt different- Like a million puppies were in front of me. Strange...
" You know you love it. Now come on, we're making a fort!" She says. She grabs my hand, and drags me upstairs to her parents room.
" Isn't your mom home?"
" Nope. Gone for a week."
" Wow. So... can we sleep in here tonight? It just hits different!" I say, running my hand on the silk sheets.
" How could I say no to little Coco?" She says, in a teasing manner. I roll my eyes, and go into the sheet closet. I grab her old princess sheets, and a few fuzzy blankets.
" 'm hungry. Can you make me some of your deLiCiOus parmesan pasta?" Piper says to me. My stomach then started to grumble. We both drop the sheets on the ground and run downstairs. I grab the bowtie noodles, pepper, and fresh parmesan. I also grab the broccoli, just to switch things up a bit. I turn on the stove and put the pot of water on it. While I wait for it to heat up, I start cutting the broccoli into smaller pieces. Once the water starts boiling, I put the bowtie pasta in the pot. I made sure there was oil in the water. While it cooks I start shredding the parmesan cheese. Piper comes and wraps her arms around my waist. I was so surprised by it, that I ended up cutting my finger.
" OMG COCO ARE YOU OK??" Piper yells. I grab her hand to try to calm her down.
" Hey, I'm ok. It's just a little cut. Can you grab me a Band-Aid tho?" I say. She quickly nods her head, before running off to get it. The timer goes off for the pasta, and I shut off the stove. Piper comes back with the band aid, and puts it on my finger for me. She kissed my finger, then my left cheek, then my right. I try to stop myself from blushing, but terribly fail. Why am I even blushing in the first place? All she did was act like my mom. I drain the pasta, then start adding everything. It takes about 5 minutes to finish. Once I was done, I put it all in a huge bowl.
" Dinner is served" I say, as I shove two forks in the bowl. Piper rushes over to try it.
" O.M.G COCO YOUR LITERALLY A GOD!" Piper says, hugging me super tight. I laugh, and start to eat. Before we knew it, the whole thing was gone.
" soo good. ANYWAYS, Let's go change into some pj's, and watch a movie in our fort."
" Oh crap, I forgot to pack some clothes"
" Oh don't worry. You can barrow some of mine." She says dragging me with her. We went in Piper's room, and grabbed some pillows. She gave me a pair of her pj's. They're so fluffy!
I ran into her parents room, and jumped in the fort. Piper just stared at me.
" Dang, you rock those better than me!" Piper says smiling
" Thank you" I say, with a light blush. I snuggle up to her. We decided to watch Titanic. It's our favorite! Everything was going alright, till both of our phones started going off. We both immediately check them, only to be shocked.
