" .What?" Piper says, still in shock from me admitting my love for her. Just from her reaction, I knew I made a mistake. I feel my eyes fill with tears, as I look into her eyes, looking for some bit of hope.
" i'm sorry. are you mad at me?" I say, in a whispery tone as my voice shakes. Piper lifts my head up, and looks into my eyes. She gave me a slight smile.
" I'm not mad at you Coco. I could never be mad at you. You can't control who you like." Piper says, in a soft reassuring tone. She pulls me into hug, and I wish I could just stay there forever. For some reason, I let the tears in my eyes fall, which mad Piper tighten her grip as she hears my soft sobs.
I can't believe this. Instead of running from her freak of a friend, she's holding me as I cry in her eyes.
" I can tell you really want an answer from me" She whispers in my ears. I pull away from the hug, so she can see me nod. She smiles, ever so slightly as she pulls me closer to her. At this point, I'm just sitting there frozen. She looks into my eyes, and puts her hands on my waist. Her attention quickly shifts to my lips. Her eyes shifts back and forth from my eyes, and lips. Her face gets closer to mine. At this point, I can feel her breath on my lips. She leans in and-
" YOOO GUYS!" My idiotic brother says, as he walks into the livingroom.
His face quickly goes pale, as he realizes what he just interrupted. Instead of asking questions, he goes back to his room. I turn my head back to Piper, to realize she never looked away. I feel a blush rush to my cheeks. She puts her nose against mine, and-well...
She kissed me!
After a few seconds, I start kissing her back. She's kissing me! Wait, so is this a yes to my question? After a minute or so, I pull away with a smile on my face. I have no idea what to say, so I just hug her even more.
" Did that answer your question?" Piper says
" Hmmmm I'm not sure! Let's try it again!" I say, which makes Piper start laughing.
" Wait, wait, WAIT when did you start liking me?" I say, pulling away from the hug and crossing my legs.
" Wait you couldn't tell? I've liked you since we met! I thought you knew from all those hints I was dropping!" She says, smiling wide.
" I NEVER KNEW! I started liking you like, a few hours before the blizzard started."
" well I guess it's good you confessed your BUrninG love for me" She says, as I punch her arm. We end up watching a movie, until it started getting dark. Piper went home soon after that. Before I go to bed, I receive a text from Piper.
