It was quite late at night when I finally got motivated to write that essay our teacher gave us. I wonder if Dino completed his. It's funny I got used to his adorable pet name so soon.
While distracted with thoughts of who among our classmates could his crush be, i noticed a shadow near the door. I hesitantly went ahead to open it.
"Ah"
"Wha-"
"what are you still up?"
"I mean why are you not asleep yet?", a very confused Mingyu would have been caught eavesdropping if I was gossiping for that matter.
"Oh, Mingyu... I was just studying.", I replied.
"I see.. But it's so late. Anyways, I'll make us some coffee. I just returned from the firm.", he sighed with a gentle look on his face.

"Has work been hectic?", I questioned.
"yeah.. But it's a relief that someone at home is concerned about me haha", he gently ruffled my hair while he groaned with weariness in his coarse voice.

Mingyu went upstairs to the kitchen while I sat back to jerk off all other unnecessary thoughts and complete my essay. In no time it was finished. Hah, better done than said.
The eerieness of the living room at night resulted in some chilly temperatures while causing me to lightly shiver at times. I went upstairs to check up on Mingyu only to find out he was freshly brewing some black coffee so late at night. "oh you don't have to... I mean instant coffee would have worked.", I pointed my hands at the machine while he yawned at his phone standing next to it.

"Oh Y/n, you're here.....", he blinked at me three to four times before removing his coat thereby putting it on my shoulders comfortably. "it's cold right now." A slight heat invaded my cheeks for the umpteenth time. I wonder how have I not gotten used to all these men caring about me. He slowly adjusted his broad-shoulder coat on me and let out a smile. "You look squishy. I wanna...", he held both of my cheeks and pinched them outwards lightly. I playfully whined at his remark as he let go. "You should watch out for your health. Eat properly with a full tummy and don't skip any meals. You're my precious little sister now and I cherish you sooo much.", I hope he didn't notice how my tears were about to come up. Never in my life did I ever feel so validated and loved.
