Sunlight streamed through the windows, gently nudging me awake as a I woke up late. I stretched and yawned, the memories of the night's conversation with Joshua still fresh in my mind.
As I got out of bed, a soft knock on my door caught my attention. I opened it to find Jeonghan standing there, his sunny smile radiating warmth."Good morning, Y/N," he greeted cheerfully, holding a tray of acai bowls and breakfast delights. "I thought I'd bring you a little morning pick-me-up."
My eyes widened in pleasant surprise. "Jeonghan, you didn't have to."
He waved off my protest, his expression indulgent. "Nonsense. You're practically my little sister now. It's my duty to pamper you."
He set the tray on a small table near the window, arranging everything with a precise attention to detail. The vibrant colors of the acai bowls and the aroma of freshly baked pastries filled the room, turning it into a miniature breakfast haven.
I chuckled, touched by his gesture. "Thank you, Jeonghan. This looks amazing."
He beamed at me, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Well, I did put in some extra effort to make it look as good as it tastes. Presentation is everything, you know."
I took a seat at the table, and he joined me, the morning sunlight casting a warm glow on his features. As we savored the delicious breakfast, we chatted about everything, and even the fleeting moments of downtime that they managed to steal between their busy schedules.
"You guys took this vacation for me," I commented, a touch of admiration in my voice.
Jeonghan shrugged, his expression modest. "It's a pleasure to hang out with you...for everyone here."
"I have to admit," he began with a playful glint in his eyes, "having you around has added a new layer of excitement to our lives."
I chuckled, a warmth spreading through me. "Likewise. You guys have made me feel like part of the family."
He nodded, his gaze sincere. "You are part of the family, Y/N. We may not be bound by blood, but the bonds we've formed are just as strong."
The sun had fully risen by the time we finished, and Jeonghan rose from his seat, collecting the empty plates.
"I'll leave you to get ready for the day," he said, his tone affectionate. "Remember, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask."
I nodded, touched by his kindness. "I will. Thanks again, Jeonghan."
He grinned, his eyes twinkling. "Anytime."
.
.The noon sun spilled a golden warmth across the island, infusing the air with a sense of adventure. After a hearty breakfast, Hoshi appeared, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
"Y/N, how about we go for a little jungle stroll?" he suggested, his playful grin infectious.
I looked at him, intrigued by the idea. "A jungle stroll? Sounds interesting. What about the others?"
"they're busy in their work-from home-s", he chirped.
"alrightyy lead the way", I beamed at Hoshi.
Later did I get to know that the members had come to look for us to go for water sports.
Hoshi just wanted me all to himself. As we ventured into the lush greenery, the jungle enveloped us with its vibrant symphony of rustling leaves and distant bird calls. The earthy scent of the forest mingled with the salty breeze from the ocean, creating an intoxicating blend of nature's fragrances.
"So," Hoshi began, a glint of curiosity in his eyes, "have you ever been on an adventure like this before?"
I chuckled, my steps in sync with his. "Not exactly. This is quite new to me."
He grinned, a hint of mischief dancing in his gaze. "Well, I'm your guide today. Prepare for an adventure you won't forget."
As we wandered deeper into the jungle, Hoshi's vibrant personality illuminated every step of the way. He pointed out exotic flowers, mimicked the calls of various animals, and even attempted to teach me a few dance steps amidst the trees.
As we ventured deeper into the jungle, Hoshi's playful spirit took over. He hopped over a fallen log, turning it into an impromptu dance move. "And here we have the rare 'Jungle Jive'-a dance performed by only the most adventurous explorers!"I laughed, matching his energy. "Impressive! But I think I need a few more lessons before I can master that move."
We continued along the winding path, our laughter blending with the rustling leaves and distant bird calls. Hoshi pointed out vibrant flowers, playfully making up names for them that had us both in stitches. We discovered peculiar-looking insects that led to a string of imaginative stories about their secret lives."See that bright blue beetle over there?" Hoshi asked, his expression comically serious. "Legend has it that it's the guardian of the Jungle Jive's secret dance moves."
As we reached a small clearing bathed in sunlight, Hoshi turned to me with a grin. "How about we take a break here? The Jungle Jive requires some hydration, you know."I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "I'm all for hydration."
We sat down amidst the soft foliage, the rustling leaves creating a soothing background melody. Hoshi produced a couple of water bottles from his backpack, handing one to me.
"Cheers to our jungle adventure," he said, raising his bottle in a playful toast.
I clinked my bottle against his. "To adventure and serenades."
The path led us to a small clearing, dappled with sunlight filtering through the canopy. Hoshi paused, his expression turning more serious as he gazed at me.
"You know," he said, his voice softening, "there's something about being surrounded by nature that makes us open up."
I nodded, appreciating the vulnerability in his words. "It's like the forest is a safe space, where we can share things we might not elsewhere."
Hoshi's gaze held mine, and his smile turned tender. "Y/N, there's something I've wanted to tell you for a while now."
My heart quickened at his words, a mixture of anticipation and nerves swirling within me. I waited, my gaze unwavering.
His voice held a note of sincerity as he continued, "From the moment I met you, you've brought a new kind of melody to my life. Your presence is like a song that lingers in my heart."
A warmth spread through me, his words touching a place deep within. Before I could respond, he took a step closer, his hand reaching for mine.
With that, he leaned in, his lips brushing against mine in a gentle kiss that sent a thrill through me. It was a kiss that held all the unspoken emotions we had carried, a confession expressed through the language of touch.
As he pulled away, his gaze held mine, and the intensity in his eyes mirrored the storm of feelings within me.
"I've been wanting to do that for a long time," Hoshi admitted, his voice filled with vulnerability.
I smiled, my heart light yet full.
I also sensed that now he was extremely shy. He held my hand and lead us back to the resort, smiling to himself all the time.
