A.N. - Prepare for POV switching!!
JAIDYN
"Seriously though, don't worry about those dumb fucks. They did too much anyway. I mean, nothing that hot can be good." Liz spoke as she chewed on her pizza.
"And can we talk about red flags? When have we seen any of them by themselves? What if they're secretly in a gay relationship and Erina is their beard?" Kasey said, looking as if she cracked a code.
My friends and I sat at a round booth near the back of Sally's pizza parlor as they tried to cheer me up from the events from earlier.
"They aren't worth your tears or time, who needs em? Men! Am I right?" Nala said.
"Ahem...no offense, Crash." She clarified.
"None taken..." he said as he ate his ice cream.
I had already unethically scarfed down almost all of my pizza, and was now eating my ice cream slowly.
"What's so great about Erina anyway? Her pink hair?! If her hair was any lighter it could be mistaken for a pale blond, so her hair doesn't make her unique, she's your average all American girl. You could easily dye your hair a darker pink Jaidyn, it'd look good on you." Liz continued to rant.
"I don't even like them like that. We were just friends and people thought I was trying to get with them." I grumbled, then let my spoon drop onto my plate with a clank.
"It's not like other girls weren't trying to get with them while they were with Erina anyway, and they never even confirmed if they were dating or not! So I just look like a bad guy for no reason!" I let my frustration out.
"They are a bunch of conceited, self-absorbed assholes. They don't deserve you or your time." Crash fueled my fire as I heard he got a text on his phone.
"Maybe it's Erina's fault, like what if she's actually manipulative and controlling and forcing them to be with her or else she'll kill them or something?" Liz widened her eyes.
We gave her a look.
"Yeah, no? Dumb. I know... but there is no way they acted clueless out there because they were genuinely confused. I bet they did it on purpose! They literally just stood there, letting them fire shots at you." Liz said.
"They know everything that goes on in that school." Kasey followed up.
They were right.
"Yeah, nothing made sense. And that one girl, Julie? How did she know about all those times you were with them? She just happened to be in the right place at the right time? Who even is she?" Nala said.
"One of my ex friends, she got kicked out of school for eavesdropping in the six's conversation a while ago." I told them. "I don't know, they pulled some strings and she was out before we knew it."
"That doesn't make sense. At all." Kasey said.
"And you said she was on your side? Before what?" Crash asked.
"She was still my friend before the cooking exam I did with Mary, Erina, and the six a while back. Then a little after, but after a while I sopped hearing from her." I said.
