"Is there something going on between you and the guys?" She asked, looking at me.

I opened my mouth, ready to say no, but then thought about them spending time with me while they were fighting with her over the weekend.

"I..." I started to say. "They were at my house this weekend." I confessed to her. I didn't want to lie.

"All weekend?" She asked. I nodded as she looked down.

"I'm sorry Erina, I wasn't thinking about everything when they were over. I should have forced them to leave, but I promise you nothing serious happened between us." I explained to her.

"Jaidyn, we're friends and we can talk to each other about anything...I just want you to know that I'm really pissed right now..." she said.

I nodded, looking down.

"I know...and I understand if you no longer want to be friends with me." I said, my voice failing me near the end.

"I still want to be friends with you...it's just that...you're trying to take them away from me..." she said to me, a tear falling down her cheek.

"I really didn't mean anything serious when they were over, we didn't do anything like that..." I said to her, my voice shaky. I knew I couldn't convince her.

"I..." I tried to say.

"Stop, Jaidyn." She looked at me. "I believed you were such a good friend..." she said.

I opened my mouth, but nothing came out.

"I understand now. I understand why you don't have a lot of friends. I understand why Mary told me she didn't really like you. The six were so interested in me until you started causing problems." She said as she stepped away from me.

"It's because you're the problem, Jaidyn. If no one around you likes you, that gives you no right to cause problems for the rest." She said, hurt laced her voice.

I was silent.

"I'm so sorry, but I had to show you tough love, you need to know the truth. I'm not going to sit around and watch you destroy my relationship. You're a home wrecker, Jaidyn." She said, painfully.

I'm the problem...I'm the home wrecker...

"I don't want this to be the end of our friendship, but if you don't stop trying to take them...I will cut you off completely. I want you to remember who they are closer to. If I wanted, I could get them to cut you right back out of their life..." she said, nothing but hatred in her eyes as she said so.

She wiped her tears and walked out of the bathroom. I blinked and my eyes went blurry as I looked down.

What happened to being just aquatinted with them? What changed and why did it happen so quickly...
