The Bat {Mlp X Male Reader}

Part 4

Y/N is seen sitting at the table same as before, with angel sitting on the table. With each passing hour, ponies come and go from the bakery that Y/N has set himself in. One filly in particular however, took an interest in our undead friend.

???: "Whoa! You look awesome!"

Y/N turns tp see a orange filly with a purple mane and pastel purple eyes. He turns behind him to see if anypony was behind him. When he saw none he turned back to the filly.

Y/N: "I apologize, were you speaking to me?"

The filly nods her smile widening.

???: "Sorry, but you just look really cool!"

Y/N looks over himself then over to the filly.

Y/N: "How so?"

The filly circles Y/N. Lifting his cape in places and messing with his mane.

???: "You just do! I mean, you look like you just won a HUGE fight!"

Y/N couldn't help bit wince a bit at that. He manages to grab the filly and place her in front of him.

Y/N: "That couldn't be ant farther from the truth little one. Though sadly i didn't win.."

He lifts up his cloak to show his bandaged body, and the red stain where blood started to seep through. The filly noticably flinches, looking up at Y/N.

???: "Did... Did it hurt?"

Y/N: "More than anything i've ever felt."

The filly looks down a bit. Y/N notices her mood and puts a hoof on her head and ruffles her mane a bit, making her look up at him.

Y/N: "Look on the bright side of things, I'm here aren't I? I don't think a wound like this would be enough to take me down."

The filly smiles and nods, taking his hoof off of her head.

Scootaloo: "Im Scootaloo by the way."

Scootaloo holds out her hoof and Y/N does the same, shaking hooves with the flightless pegasus

Y/N: "I'm Y/N."

{Timeskip}

A few hours later, Y/N was sitting with angel. With nothing going on, Angel fell asleep on Y/N's head. Now that the sun was setting, nopony was walking outside and it was peaceful... For a minute at least. With his advanced hearing Y/N heard a commotion coming from the center of town, and it didn't sound good. Y/N stood up and walked out the bakery door. Looking up, he could see that the moon was fully up. But something had... Changed about it.

Y/N: "This isn't good.."

Y/N takes off his cloak and puts angel on it, leaving him behind as he opens his large bat-like wings and flying towards the town hall. He arrives just in time to see a deep blueish mist fly right out of the building and fly past him. He watches it go towards the forest beyond the town.

???: "Come back here!"

Y/N look behind him to see a pastel blue pegasus with a rainbow mane looking in the direction that the mist flew off in.

???: " Nighttime... Forever?"

Y/N: (Forever?)

Y/N sees the purple unicorn from before, twilight, running out of the town hall and decides to follow her.

He follows her to a tree that had been turned into a library. He perches himself on a branch outside and looks through a window.

Twillight: "Ugh, how can I stop Nightmare Moon without the elements of harmony!?"

???: "And just what are the elements of harmony? And how do you know about Nightmare Moon huh? Are you a spy!?"

As thier conversation continued, Y/N goes inside from one of the windows, going unnoticed by the other ponies in the room.

???"...she ain't no spy, but she sure knows what's going on, dontcha Twilight?"

Y/N turns too see a group of ponies in front of twilight. A white unicorn with a purple mane, a pink mare with a darker pink mane, an orange mare with a pastel yellow mane, the blue pegasus from before and a pastel yellow pegasi with a pink mane.

Twilight: "I read all about the prediction of nightmare moon, some mysterious objects called the elements of harmony are the only things that can stop her. But i don't know what they are, or where to find them..."

Y/N notices the pink pony go over to a shelf and look at a few of the books.

???: "The elements of harmony, a reference guide!"

Twilight ran over to her bumped into her, knocking the pink pony next to him.

Twilight: "How did you find that?"

???: "It was under E!"

Twilight: "oh."

Twilight uses magic to pull the book off the shelf and opens it, making everypony including Y/N gather around her.

Twilight: "There are six elements of harmony nut only five are known; kindness, laughter, generosity, honesty, and loyalty. The sixth is a complete mystery..."

As Twilight spoke Y/N noticed something and looked outside, noticing the mist from before as it flew off, making his eyes flash red.

{Timeskip}

Mane Six: "The evergreen forest!?"

???: "Whee! Lets go!"

Twilight: "Not so fast. Look, i appreciate the offer, but i'd rather do this on my own."

Y/N: "That's not a very good idea."

The sound of his voice made the other ponies jump back with a yelp. They all look at him with startled faces.

Y/N: "What?"

Twilight: "Where did you come from?"

Y/N: "Did you seriously not notice me when i followed you here?"

The ponies all shook thier head no, and Y/N just sighs and shakes his head.

[Im just going to call them by thier names now.]

Applejack: "Anyway, he's right, it ain't safe goin' in alone. We're sticking to you like caramel on a candy apple."

The other ponies nod in agreement go into the forest, leaving Y/N and twilight alone. Twilight sighs and looks at Y/N.

Y/N: "Well come on then."

He walks in after them, Twilight following closely behind.
