The Bat {Mlp X Male Reader}

Part 6

Y/N walked through the forest with the mane six, most of them laughing along the way. Rainbow was (Surprisingly) walking beside Y/N, looking over him.

Y/N was unbothered by this, though he had to ask...

Y/N: "Rainbow Dash, may I ask why you are staring at me?"

He looked at her, his yellow eyes glowing in the night.

Rainbow: "I'm just wondering how you survived that fall! I mean, you don't have a scratch on you!"

She takes a hoof and goes to lift his bat-like wing, but that only results in him slapping her hoof away with his tail. When she looked at his face, his eyes were slightly orange.

Y/N: "Do NOT touch me Rainbow."

She gulped and nodded, making Y/N calm down as his eyes return to his standard shade of yellow.

Rainbow: "S-sorry. But, how did you survive that fall?"

Y/N allowed her to catch up with him as he sighs slightly and stops.

Y/N: "...I have been through a lot in my travels Rainbow Dash. That fall is nothing compared to what I have been through in the past."

He lifts his wing, showing a scar that goes along his side, making Rainbow wince slightly. He then folds his wing back up, clearing his throat before walking again, making Rainbow walk with him.

Rainbow: "Just... what made that scar? A monster? Some type of animal?"

Y/N: "... My mother."

This made Rainbow's eyes widen. A mother... would do something like that to their filly? She kept walking with him, now silent. That is until they noticed something. Rainbow looked around for a moment before asking Y/N a question.

Rainbow: "Y/N? Did you see where the others went?"

This made Y/N stop and look around as well. When he noticed the others gone as well, he sighed.

Y/N: "It seems that our conversation has made us lose track of the others. Come on, let's try and find them before they get themselves hurt."

Y/N starts going into a slight trot as he starts looking around for the other five, rainbow following behind similarly. They went around until they had reached a still river, the water a glistening blue in the moonlight. 

Y/N: "There's a river here... did they cross somehow?"

Rainbow: "Maybe. But we won't know until we cross ourselves."

She spreads her wings and flies over the river, landing on the other side as she looks back to see if Y/N had followed. When she notices he didn't, she calls out to the grey pony.

Rainbow: "Hey! Why haven't you crossed yet?"

Y/N nods and takes a few steps back, running then jumping over the large river, making Rainbow's jaw drop slightly as he does. He lands next to her, then looks at her, her jaw still hanging.

Y/N raises a brow, raising a hoof and closing her jaw for her, making her cheeks turn a light shade of pink when he does.

Y/N: "Don't need you catching flies now, do we?"

He walks off down a path, making Rainbow shake her head and follow after him. 

Rainbow: "H-how did you do that??"

Y/N: "Training. I've trained to be able to jump that distance without my wings, just in case something happens to them."

Rainbow: "Must've been some grueling training to be able to jump THAT far."
