Adrien Agreste always believed that soulmates could balance the other out, it was just like that, they were like Yin and Yang, the sun and the moon.
When his soulmates initials appeared he was so happy! He would soon meet her and they would be able...
"Thanks again for training with me... This workout clothes shoot is going to be easier for me" Adrien said with a smile, of course he has his usual trainer to train with but he sadly called in sick... So he turned to his three friends, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Luka Couffaine and Kagami Tsurugi "No problem! It was really fun to help you to be honest!" Mari chirped out with a smile, Marinette wanted to become a future designer, so she did her best to learn about all kinds of clothes and also for what they were used... So her joining was perfect to help her out.
She was also unique, when he started school she had grown to have a crush on Adrien... But then her initials appeared on her wrist, to her surprise she had two that she didn't know at all... She was still a little sad that it wasn't Adrien, but she still went up to him and admitted to having a crush on him for a while... But would focus on looking for her soulmates and getting to know them now, when Adrien saw the initials he decided to help her find them both... But that was easier said than done, Mari had three names for herself so they needed to find two who had a three letter initial and then a two letter initial... And it was hard until a person in a red fencing uniform came in that made Mari look at her wrist.

If Adrien hadn't seen her do so... He wouldn't have even thought of seeing who was in the red, so he had a match... And somehow there was a tie... But Chloe claimed he won so the person left... And revealed to be a girl, Mari ruched over and begged to know her name, she didn't respond at first, her eyes on Mari's wrist... And then she revealed her own wrist... And it had Mari's initials and the second she had there too.

It was huge to them, the fact that Mari had now found one of her two soulmates made her so happy, she then introduced herself as Kagami Tsurugi, she then asked Mari out on a date which the blunette agreed to, then Kagami said she would pick her up at 7 and then left... Leaving a squealing Mari for Adrien to take care of at the moment, it made him wonder who his soulmate might be.
See, soulmate marks are very tricky, they always appear at random, sometimes you were born with them, other times you grow old when yours appear and sometimes they never appear! These things happen sometimes and no one has ever been able to figure out how they are triggered to appear, a scientist discovered though that the soulmate marks are never wrong, the initials you have is the person or people who will complete you... The stronger the bond then the stronger the connection you will have with them.
A while after Kagami and Mari got together, Juleka came over asking to see the other initials they have, once seen she reveals that there last partner might be her brother Luka and invited them into her home to meet him and see if she was right, Adrien agreed for them and helped them get ready to meet her brother... Mari was very nervous, but with Kagami... Those nerves were quick to leave her as they got on Anarka's ship where Luka was playing his guitar... His initials clear as day to those who take the time to look.

They found him! Luka looked up and was surprised that his marks matched with there's... But he was happy to meet them and invited the two girls to his room so they could talk... Leaving Adrien with Juleka as they wait for the trio to come out "Are you... Still waiting for your mark?" she asked, her mark for Rose in clear sight on her arm as he nodded "It will come when it want's to appear... There's no rush really either, so all I can do is wait for now" he had explained that day as Juleka smiled to him and said that it will appear.
And now here we are, a year later and the trio was a happy couple, of course this led to Chloe doing her best to get with Adrien... And then came the Italian transfer student Lila Rossi, the girl loves to lie which is something Adrien and Marinette hate, they informed his parents who deemed Lila as dangerous to his son and his personal life, since then only his friends could come to shoots he was on... Except Lila, but the girl does try her best to get with him at school which no one stops her even if Adrien does reject her... But the class with Alya in the front (except Juleka, Rose, Chloe and Sabrina) believe that he's just shy.
He groans as he get's a texts from Nino, his planned hang-out with him... Has turned into a double date: Nino and Alya with him and Lila "Guess i'm third wheeling you guys again" he said with a sigh "Double date with Lila again?" Luka asked making the blonde nod as he informed Nathalie of the change of plans "We planned to do some shopping, Marinette has these new designs she desires to create so we are helping her buy what she needs" Kagami explained as Adrien smiled at the plan.
They got going to a few stores, he loved shopping with them because he wasn't forced to do anything he doesn't want to do! Each time Alya drags him to join her with Nino and Lila... It was always what Lila wanted to do and no one could go against her ever, he has tried to get away from them... But Lila always got what she wanted... And she wanted Adrien and who were they to not allow her to have him? He still remembered how angry his mother was at the sight of the nail marks on his arms because Lila dug them in when he tried to get away... As a result the Agreste family slammed a contract before Lila... That she won't be forced to go back to Italy for her assault on Adrien if she left him alone.
She signed it... But only so she couldn't harm him physically...
She enjoyed playing with his head, making him know that if he didn't do as she wanted... He would make all his friends hate him, he hated her for that and so did his three friends, they swore to never believe her words ever, but right now... Lila has been starting something, he isn't sure about it but for some reason she has been claiming that her arm feels warm at times making the class think it's her mark about to appear... And he feels like she's planning something but he wasn't sure about what it was right now and so... All he could do is wait and hope for the best.
They decided to take a break for lunch to relax as Adrien began to get texts from Nino asking him where he was, he simply ignored them and focused on his friends as Luka then noticed something on Adrien making him smile "Is there something on me?" he asked making Luka chuckle "Look at your arm Adrien" he said simply making Mari freak "Your soulmate's initials are there!?" she asked as she quickly grabbed his arm to look with Kagami looking too "Well well... Looks like we match" she said making him confused as he took back his arm to look.
