"So, your telling me raven almost burned your house down?" Claire asked, laughing. She was sat crisscrossed on the floor across from him."Yep!" Charles replied, laughing as well.
"Wow." She let out a giggle at the thought.
"Out of all things I just told you, that's what you find the most interesting?" He questioned, clearly amused.
"Yeah, pretty much" Claire answered. Charles had just finished telling Claire everything she wanted to know. All about why she was here, who he was, what their mission was. Even explaining his mutation, although it was something she let go quickly. At some point though, their conversation was sidetracked and they ended up sharing random stories with each other. After a short pause, Claire spoke up.
"How is it that you and your friend broke into my house to convince me to join your group of mutants and then basically kidnapped me," Claire started, already about to laugh, "but now I feel more comfortable with you and all the others, than anyone I've ever met?" Charles looked at her with an amused smile.
"Alright, I admit, maybe the whole waiting in your house thing was a bad idea," Charles admitted, rubbing the back of his neck "Why did you agree to come with us?"
"I don't know." she replied with a content sigh, though she seemed as though she was going to explain why she did what she did. There was a long pause of silence as Claire opened her mouth, before she could speak, her eyes landed on a clock that read 3:05 am "Oh god it's late! I've kept you up all night. I should be getting back to my room." Charles smiled at her Quick, anxious words. She stood up, grabbing the slippers she had taken off. Charles followed her as she walked to the door, opening it for her. Claire muttered a small thank you and walked down the hall.
"Goodnight Claire." Charles called out, clearly still amused by her hurriedness.
"Goodnight Charles." she replied, not turning around and heading straight to her room, obviously a bit embarrassed she'd kept him awake. Charles watched as she entered her room and closed the door, slowly doing the same. Unbeknownst to Claire, he'd known exactly how late it was, though something in him decided he didn't mind having lost sleep to her.

Just like the day before, Charles, Erik and Moria were out doing the important things while the others had to stay in the small game room. They had spent the whole day in there, bored out of their minds. This time there was sharing mutations and cool hero names, instead, a few of them played the games located in the back of the room, others shared conversation and Claire took a nap on the couch.
When Claire finally awoke up from her nap, it was dawn. Sat next to her were Sean, Raven, Hank, and Angel, all talking quietly amongst themselves. Alex and Darwin were playing some game in the back still, obviously having some sort of competition. Claire slowly sat up, the others pausing their conversations to look at her.
"Hey sleepy head." Sean grinned, teasing the girl "You've been asleep for a while, what were you doing last night? Partying?" The others laughed, all obviously amused by his words. Claire merely smiled at his comment. She was about to reply when two men came up to the newly repaired window.
"Oh, I didn't know the circus was in town." one of them joked, "Hey, come on, honey. Give us a little." the man imitated wings with his hands at angel. His words obviously annoyed her. "No? Come on let's see the foot."
His next mock directed at Hank, who stood up and walked over to the window. he quickly closed the curtains before the men could say anything else.
"There just guys being stupid." Raven tried to comfort Angel, who was clearly upset.
