day six woot woot!! everyone say happy birthday to my bitch ass little brother!!

"Where are the sponges?!"

"Jesus Christ, Janis," Cady breathes, resting a hand over her heart and gently hushing a frightened baby in her arms. "What?"

"Sorry." Janis mumbles. "Where are the sponges?"

"Under the kitchen sink," Cady replies. "Why?"

"I found a thing on Pinterest, we have to do it!" Janis calls as she goes running from the room and downstairs. Cady sighs and shakes her head, looking down at the little ones on her lap.

"Your mommy is absolutely nuts. But we love her."

"So what new thing that isn't gonna turn out the way we want have you found this time?" Cady hums lovingly as she heads downstairs after putting the twins down for their nap to find Janis aggressively scrubbing the kitchen sink clean. Janis looks up in surprise when she hears her and dries her hands off.

"I found... this," she says as she flicks her phone on to show her wife a bookmarked page. Cady looks interestedly, and sees an absolutely precious photo of a baby in a bath of 'hot chocolate'.

"Aww," she coos. "That is cute."

"It's just hot cocoa powder in water and some giant marshmallows," Janis says happily. "They love baths, they probably won't even cry."

"They do love baths," Cady agrees. "You better go get those marshmallows, though."

"Oh yeah," Janis says. "Okay, I'll be back in a few minutes."

Cady smiles lovingly as Janis rushes to pull her coat and boots on and comes running back for a goodbye kiss. "Be safe, there's no rush. I love you."

Janis nods. "Okay. I love you too."

"There's Mommy!" Cady says happily when Janis returns, armed with some absolutely massive marshmallows. Janis pouts when she sees the teary Layla in her arms. "Someone got sad when she woke up and realized you were gone."

"Aww, pumpkin," Janis coos, taking Layla and bouncing her a couple times. "I'll always come back, I'm not gonna leave you! Where's sissy, I want that one too."

Cady picks Leo out of her little swing and hands her over too. She brightens when she sees Janis and cuddles in as a greeting.

"There we go," Janis says happily when she has both her babies back with her. "Both my little munchkins."

Cady smiles at her perfect little family and comes to kiss three sets of cheeks. "I love you so much."

"We love you too," Janis hums, leaning in to kiss her wife. She gets a few solid ones in before she's interrupted by a little hand on her chin. "Excuse me, little miss."

Layla pulls her face away from Cady and to her, implicitly demanding some kisses of her own. Janis laughs and kisses up and down the bridge of her little nose. Cady scoffs in disbelief and snatches Layla up.

"You little stinker! Stealing my wife! Those are my kisses!" she says, tossing Layla in the air and smooching her chubby cheeks. Layla giggles, but quickly starts fussing and reaching back for Janis. "Okay, fine, you can have Mommy. I'll just have this one."
