~Xiumin Imagine~

Today our school was going on a field trip to the beach! The students were in homeroom, waiting for the teacher to dismiss us to the bus.

I was sitting down, chatting with my friends.

"Oh c'mon Joyce! I dare you to!" my friend grins and pokes me in the cheek.

I shook my head. "No! I'm not going to ask him! Dare or no dare, I'm not doing it!"

"You've been crushing on Xiumin since first grade and now we're in junior year, just ask him!" my other friend says as she shakes me.

"Ughhh!" I groaned. "He probably would want to sit with his friends on the bus... And if he says no, that would be totally awkward!"

Just then, Xiumin walks into the room. I squeal, as I hid behind my backpack.

I was always shy whenever I saw Xiumin. We don't talk a lot, but he's really kind, polite, smart, and yes, cute! Can't blame me for crushing on a guy like him right?

Then of course, there were those awkward moments where I make a complete idiot out of myself. The time in ninth grade where Xiumin asked to borrow a pen during locker break. I ended up spilling everything in my pencil case, slipped on the pencils, and fell right on my butt.

I hear Xiumin's footsteps walk past by my table. "Is he gone?" I mutter under my breath.

Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder from behind. I sat up, turned around and I was face to face with Xiumin. My friends squeal and jab me in the stomach.

"Hi Joyce!" Xiumin flashes a bright smile.

MY. HEART. IS. MELTING.

"H-hello!" I stutter, trying to keep myself calm.

Okay, keep calm, he's just a guy.

Okay, a really cute guy, alright?!

"Uh.... You look pretty today.." he nods.

I look down, trying to hide my red face. "T-thanks."

Xiumin nods. "So Joyce...."

I hear my friends continuous squeals like an aquarium full of dolphins.

"Y-yes oppa- I mean Xiumin?" I smile nervously.

"I was wondering if you'd like to sit next to me on the bus today to the field trip?" he asks.

I nod quickly. "Yes! I would love to!"

Xiumin smiles widely. "Awesome! I'll see you on the bus!"

The teacher begins to dismiss and file us into the bus. I sat next to Xiumin, as my two friends were sitting behind me. I couldn't help smiling! And he smells so amazing! Like cinnamon and apples!

The bus driver begins driving. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to talk to Xiumin, but I didn't know how to start up a conversation. So, I took out my iPod and listened to some music.

Twenty minutes later on the bus, Xiumin taps on my shoulder. "Joyce?"

I took my earphones out. "Yes?"

"Would you like some?" Xiumin holds a box of chocolate Pocky sticks.

"Mmm... Sure!" I smile, accepting his offer.
