Chen VS Lay Imagine ~

A/N Anyone want to request anything? I kind of want to go back to writing the imagines hehe! Until then, these are one of those random imagine updates! I want to give the love triangle imagines a try... There will be separate imagines written for which route you choose to take! Enjoy!~

~ Chen Imagine ~

Humming a happy tune, carrying paper bags loaded with groceries, I walk back to the condo.

Today was a beautiful autumn day. The sun was shining brightly, the birds were chirping, and of course, who wouldn't notice the foliage of the trees changing colors.

Making it to the front of the condo, I go over to the mailbox to retrieve a few envelopes and head inside.

Walking up the staircase, I heard singing from the suite across. Huh, I guess that is the new neighbor that moved in today.

The singing was quite calming. Maybe I should say hi to the neighbor once they are settled in. Going inside my suite, I settle my groceries on the island counter.

I take out the vegetables and meat, putting them in the fridge. After that was settled, I go to my desk located in the living room.

Boring readings on nutrition for an essay that was due tomorrow, and I haven't even started it yet. Procrastination is therefore NOT the key.

Sighing, I sit down in the chair, slip on my headphones and listened to calm, classical music. It usually helps me with homework!

Going through three pages within the textbook on the importance of vitamins and the benefits of eating healthy, I heard loud shouting of profanities across the hallway.

I pause Beethoven's Fifth Symphony on my phone and take off the earbuds. I hope everything is okay and that there won't be murders occurring.

"MOTHER *beeping* SHI- OH *beep* BE GENTLE. AH SHIT. FU-...!" My ears sensed the sound of loud banging against the wall.

"Mmm... Chen calm down, I'll be more gentle. I'm sorry..." A different voice chuckled.

W-what is going on. My thoughts cannot function. I can either act innocent, or my byuntae of a mind could take this the other way.

I shiver. The sound of both males were chuckling in the room. OH GOODNESS GRACIOUS.

More loud banging against the wall. "A-ah... That hurts... B-but quick, hurry, faster...."

I hurriedly turn on my stereo, connecting my phone and blasted on a song. My playlist shuffled to Big Bang's Bang Bang Bang.

This is most definitely the greatest time to listen to THIS SONG. I am not trying to promote and cheer on the sexual activities with the neighbors next door, it was utter pure coincidence.

I switch the song to a different tune. The song wasn't capable of drowning the sound of loud moaning. I covered my ears.

"J-JONGDAE. OH MY GOD..."

"A-AH....!"

I growl. Finding the remote and turning the music off, I walk out and pound my fists against their door. "CAN YOU WEIRDOS KEEP IT DOWN?! YOU HAD BEEN HERE FOR ONE DAY AND CAUSED AN UPROAR OF NOISES. I HAVE A FUCKING ESSAY TO WRITE BY TOMORROW AND IF YOU DONT SHUT UP, GO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD WANT TO WELCOME YOU HERE AND I WOULD HATE TO HAVE YOU AS A NEIGHBOR."

The sounds of laughter were suddenly silent. "What the heck..." Someone shuffles to the door and opens it. "... Hello there! Are you the neighb-"

"That was just disguising, if you guys are going to fuck can you at least keep it quiet or do it somewhere else..?"

The guy looks at me weirdly. "What... Sorry for the loud shouting, but I think you might've misunderstood somet-"

Another male waddles to the door. "Is the Chinese food here yet? Chen, we have to take that glass out of your foot and you can't wal- .... Hi there."

"W-wait so... The yelling was..." I turned crimson red. "I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to have the first impression act out this way... I thought you guys were--"

The guy holding a roll of gauze chuckled. "No, not the naughty!"

"It's okay..!" The guy, I believe from the previous mentioning, was named Chen, smiles. "No worries. Again, I apologize for the loud outbursts!" He bows.

I bow back as the other guy bows as well. "I'm sorry as well..!"

Laughing awkwardly. "Well I am Chen. I moved in here today, broke a glass vase, stepped in it and my foot is bleeding!" He said with enthusiasm." You are?"

"I-I'm _________. Feel better...It's nice to meet you too Chen and..."

"Oh, how rude of me! I'm Lay, a friend of Chen's. I helped him move in today but I don't live here."

"Nice to meet you _______!" They said in unison and bowed at the same time. I smile slightly.

Well, not the way I imagined meeting the new neighbor but, hopefully, they forgive me for my misunderstanding.

"U-uh, so do you guys need help with moving in or some sort? Consider it as I would like to help.."

"Mmm...!" Chen hums. "If you don't mind...! We just brought the kitchen and dinner ware items inside. If you could help us unpack and put it in the cupboards..!"

"Aish, Chen." Lay mumbles and whispers. "That's rude to have a girl do work that you are capable of do-"

"N-no! I asked because I really wanted to help out.." I smile and head inside..

Chen chuckles. "Well, thank you ________! If you really don't mind."

"Certainly, neighbor." I head over to the kitchen and started to help them unpack. Chen finally treated his foot, and continued with unboxing books in the living room.

Lay was dusting the shelves and mainly every inch of the house with a duster. Then, he starts vacuuming.

I take the plates out and settle them in their cupboards. After a while, I managed to finish everything! "Anything else?"

"Mm.. No, I think that's it, thank you so much _______." Chen said.

"No problem. Well." I looked at the time. "I must be going!"

"Oh no, wait....!" Lay said. "Stay and have dinner with us...!"

"I don't want to be a fuss-"

"No! That's a great idea, please, stay with us for dinner!" Chen smiles.

"Mm... If you say so..!"

That's how I met my new neighbor.
