(Katya Pov)

“Have you located him yet? We need him here, without him we are asking for trouble. There is only one thing I can think of but I don’t like it. I have to talk with Logan” I said to the guys through mind link. “I need to get a hold of the Council and we also need to start the training or be in breach of the contract.” I turned from the window as look at the still figure lying on the bed.

“Katya I think one of us should go get the rest of the pack. They need to know what’s going on. “Marco said

“I know your right. But you need someone with authority that leaves you only two choices Kyle or Amber. If I go it will leaves us open for attack.” Emil rubs my tired shoulders and rested his chin on my head.

Emil’s soothing tone wrapped around me like a blanket “You know he is going to be ok, the blood work should be in soon. I know I’m not your mate Katya, but it doesn’t me I love you any less. I know it’s wrong for me to say this, but I have to be the only wolf I know who doesn’t want to meet their mate, because I have you. I know this isn’t the right time to say things but it never seems like a good time lately. Things are crazy and I need you to know how I feel, even if in the end you choose someone else.” Emil said as he kissed my head.

“I love you Emil and I won’t lie to you. We never talk about the future, because we both know your mate is out there. I’m afraid of losing you but I’m also afraid of losing him too. He is different, not that he is all of sudden the good guy or that I forgive him. Just that I see glimpse of the man lying underneath all that crap. It’s like he changing into another person, a better person, and that is what makes me confuse. The strange thing is when I’m with you both…I love you and fear you at the same time for different reasons.  

Emil hugged me one more time and said, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to drop that on you like this, but I had to get off my chest. Whoever you chose, just make sure that you pick me because as soon as we finish here I’m going to get X-rated baby” he teased.

I giggled. “Oh yea baby, but now I have to run. Don’t leave him alone. Call me if you need to be relieved from your post. Can I get one for the road sexy?” I pointed to my lips,

He grinned and kissed my cheek. “Save it for later baby I’m working here. My boss will beat my ass for flirting on the job. Wait….on second thought.” Emil placed his hands under my arms and lifted me up to eye level so that my feet dangled off the ground. Then puckered his lips dramatically and gave me a big MUAHHH type kiss, then set me down. I shook my head at him and mumbled “Damn tall people “as I headed out the door.

I ran into a few people as used the dirt path to get our house, it felt good to be outside for a while even if it was for a short walk. I’ve been stuck inside the last 4 days. It had been 4days since the incident with Drake. Things really went to shit since that day. The Alpha is in a coma like state, the beta is missing and the Luna has her head stuck her ass.

My only hope is that Council listens to my plea.

As I step into the house am greeted with that sound of laughter and play fighting.
