 ( Emil’s Pov)

“Water please,” I croaked out in low raspy voice.

A sweet angelic voice answered, “Your finally awake handsome?” She brought a glass of cold crisp water to my lips. I chugged the water greedily and began to choke. “Slow down big guy. I don’t want you to hurt yourself now that you are a wake.” She leaned over me and fluffed the pillow behind my head. That is when her scent drifted around me.  “Dark chocolate and raspberries,” I thought to myself. The smell was so strong that the more I inhaled, the more my wolf stirred.

“How long......what happened,” I managed to say.

“You were shot during the attack at the airport. The injury was minor but the bullet itself caused most of the damage. It was silver and laced with other chemicals. Lucky for you I know some excellent doctors and chemist.  The analyzed the bullet I dug out of you and we been working on a drug to counter the effects. However you are going to have a nasty scar that will never heal and we still don’t know if the bullet affected your wolf;” she said quietly.

“I can feel him when you get close to me.” I said weakly “What is your name beautiful?”

She blushed, “My name is Nikki, and maybe he is stirring because we are mates.” She with a playful winked. 

“Come closer,” she leaned over me and her long blonde ponytail brushed my cheek. The smell hit me in full forces and small growl vibrated my chest. “Mine” I whispered, as my hand lifted to caress her lovely face.

She turned her head into my hand and kissed my palm. “You need your rest lover boy,” she said as pulled my hand back down in tucked me in.

“Don’t go, you still haven’t told me how long I been here.”

“You were in coma like state for about a week.” I relaxed into the bed and drifted back into the darkness. I tender smile crossed my face as I thought, “I finally found her.”

(Katya POV)

What was I sleeping on, I sighed as snuggled into the plush matrices. I must be lying on the softest bed on earth.  After the abuse my body had suffered this felt like I was heaven.  “Maybe I died,” I thought as stretched my body in a lazy stretch. I was afraid to open my eyes, but I did it anyways. I was outside looking up into the clearest blue sky I had ever seen.  The rich blue color was so vivid; it reminded me of something out of a movie. I rose up on my elbows and found myself lying on a grass bed scattered with a few wild flowers.

Then it hit me as I moved my arms. “Oh shit I am free, of the chains and the pain is gone.” I thought.

Looking around my eyes scanned the lush surroundings. “Where am I,” I thought.  I was sitting on a large patch of green grass, which was surrounded by purple and white wild flowers. I threaded my fingers through the grass carpet, everything seems so real. As I look around the clearing that was nestled in the middle of a thick dense forest; the whole scene so animated it reminded me of a fairy tale setting. It was so surreal. The clash of the brilliant colors where so bright, that I cover my eyes with my hand. “How did I get here?” I wondered.
