Y/N, Jinx and Boulder all sat on the turbine. Jinx had a book in her hand that she stole from the previous chapter and Y/N and Boulder sat down.
Y/N: Wait wait wait. Boulder, did you talk yesterday or was ... was I drunk at that point?
Boulder shook his head and winked at the screen.
Y/N: Wow. I don't remember drinking. Suppose that's how drunk I was. PumpDaddyL must have been drunk too then.
Jinx: Boring! Boring. Wow, super boring. Here we go!
Jinx sat up straight and held the book out at arms length.
Y/N: Whatcha doing Jinx?
Jinx: Trying to figure this thing out. It's all about these weird runes. They form some kind of mathy ... magicky gateway. To the realm of ... heebeejeebees. And this-
Jinx plucks the crystal ball from her pocket.
Jinx: -Turns it on.
She presses it into the contraption and a blue light pulses through it.
Jinx: So, here goes.
She turns a knob and the machine sparks wildly and sends her flying back. It erupted the same blue lightning out of it as the monkey bomb. It suddenly stopped and little blue sparkles filled the air.
Y/N: Jinx?! You ok?
Jinx begins crying and Y/N hugs her.
Jinx: No! No it was a mistake! It was a mistake!
Jinx runs off and Y/N reaches for her but decides to stop. Sometimes people need some alone time. Y/N tries to catch one of the sparkles in his mouth but at the last second, it fades away. He quickly got up and ram after Jinx and Boulder scuttles quickly behind him. He followed her through the crowded streets and into the old arcade where they had escaped from Marcus. They all step inside quietly and look around.
Y/N: Just like how we left it.
Jinx steps on the old boxing machine face target and picks it up. A bird squawks and lands on a counter. She quickly aims her pistol but after looking at it, she smiles and walks away. Y/N quickly snatches it with his tongue and begins munching. Jinx puts the target back one and turns the machine on. She begins punching it furiously while in tears. At the end, she had scored 2nd place with 4406 points. 1st being Vi with 4800 points.
Y/N: Good job!
His voice did nothing to calm her down as she shot at the face target. The three of them went off and away into The Last Drop where they sat on their bunks. The Sheriff of Piltover came in and shortly after, Silco came in. After discussing how much shit they both would be in if they were found out working together, the sheriff left.
Silco: Ugh. He's faltering. You two need to weaponise the hextech soon. Once we've cracked their prize, topside will have no power over us.
Y/N: Wait a sec ... how did you ...... but we ..... HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW WE WERE HERE?!
Jinx: I can't do it. Just .... give it to the doctor.
Silco: You two are the only ones I can trust with this.
Jinx: I keep .... seeing them. That day.
Silco gets up and off his chair and looks up.
Y/N's (e/c) eyes glowed brightly in the dark.
Silco: Fear haunts us all, child. Come, follow me.
Jinx jumped down from her bunk. Y/N was about to follow her but Silco put a single hand up.
Silco: Not you Y/N. You stay.
Y/N: Fine. Whatever.
Silco grasped the door handle and looked up at him one final time.
Silco: Oh, and Y/N.
Y/N: Mmmmmmyes?
Silco: I have cameras up there. That's how I know.
Y/N: Wait ... cameras?! So you see everything?
Silco: Everything.
Y/N: What about yesterday?
Silco: Ah yes, yesterday. Y/N, you disappoint me. I thought you would have been bigger.
Silco and Jinx leave Y/N sulking in the corner while Boulder rolls around on his back laughing.
Y/N: Wheres the receipt for when I payed for you again?
The next morning arrived too quickly and Y/N, Jinx and Boulder went onto the turbine again.
Y/N: So ... what did Silco want to do with you yesterday?
Jinx: Relax Y/N!
Jinx flicked through another page of the book. Sparks whizzed around her as a machine began working. She picked up the crystal ball in her hand and put it in the machine.
Y/N: Jinx! Don't you remember what happened last time! I don't want to see you-
Jinx: Y/N I said relax, OK!
Y/N stumbled back. She had never shouted at him or ever been angry in that matter. He stood back and watched the machine. Ready for an explosion, he covered his eyes but his hands were soon whisked away by Jinx who had grabbed them and began twirling him around.
Jinx: It works, Y/N it works!
