Pheobe P.O.V
"You did what with Max?!" Cherry was in shock.
"I didn't do anything with him, I wanted to, but I didn't." My head still pounded from the thoughts of that night.
"Geez, Pheebs! Get it girl!" She nudged my shoulder, making me laugh.
"Whatever. I have him next period and lucky me, we're working together on that project thingy." Then I remembered... The project! It was due on Friday and I haven't started it yet!
"Well, good luck focusing on something other than Max. We have two minutes left in this period and you haven't shut up about him this whole time!" We heard the bell ring.
We both got up and started walking to our next class together. I couldn't wait to see Max!
"So, how's it going with Oyster?" I joked.
"Shoot me now!" She joked back.
As I walked into class, I saw Max sitting in the seat he sat in with me on Friday. Cherry left to go and sit with Oyster, so I headed towards Max. I sat down next to him, but he didn't pick his head up from the desk.
"Max?" Still no answer. He was obviously sleeping. I shook his shoulder, still nothing. I touched his side, tickling him. It worked. He jumped up and wiped the drool from his cheek.
"C'mon class started." I laughed. I stated to write a first draft for our written report. I knew I would have to type it out on my own since Max hasn't helped this whole time.
"Snark away! I'll get you back." He smirked. "So, uh, I was thinking maybe I could go over your house tonight? Work on this with you." He suggested.
"Max, I'm not going to have sex with you! I was drunk and totally vulnerable to you. Plus, our dad's hate eachother so I doubt he'd let me take home a villain. I had to lie to them once about going to your house. I don't want to lie again." I admitted.
"Whatever." He put his head back down as I continued to write out my report.
When the bell rang, Max and I got up at the same time. I walked out with Cherry, talking about girly stuff, until Max came up beside me.
"I'll see you tonight. At your house." He smiled and walked away.
