I read this and it was amazing.
It hit so hard...
The entire reason I started writing books on wattpad was because I was going through a really hard time. I had fallen into depression and had to let go of people who I now realize weren't really my friends.
I used writing to escape from myself.
My real life.
Everything.
I don't write as often, but to me, that's a good thing. I don't write to distract myself anymore, I write because I enjoy it.
My first book ((Unexpected.. HamiltonxJefferson)) was based off a role play I did with people I had never met.
I had to stop talking to them and it made me sink back into depression. Before I found wattpad, I would use role play to distract myself.
Then I started writing books, and that became a distraction. I had alot going on at the time and used my characters (who I still like to consider my imaginary friends) to escape.
Now, I just use writing as a hobby, a thing I do for enjoyment.
I'm grateful for everyone who would read and reads my book. Thank you all so so much.
