A'layah sat at home by the pool stressing tryna figure out where is Jamari. She seen him take off running but she didn't know if they caught him or was he still out there running. The reason she don't kno where he at is because the police made them leave the park
She feel like all this is her fault, like why df she kill them. She could've just shot them but no, she had to do the most.
It's been hours since everything happened, and the fact that it's 3 inna morning and he haven't called is bothering her. If he was in jail he would've called her, and if he got away he would've called.
"You okay" Ty asked her coming outside with her, lay shook her head no
"What if they caught him" lay said wiping her tears
"Imma have that guilt on me because he gone be in there for years something he didn't even do. I can't let him sit and do dat Time" Lay continued
"Ik but lay think about. Jamari told you to run because he knew the police was coming. He kno you need to be here for Jamarion that's why he told you to run" Ty said
"Ik my brother better than anything, he ain't let the police get him. That boy ducked off hiding, he'll be home soon" Ty told her
"Hey sis you good" Killa said walking in the backyard
"I'll be alright" lay said giving him a small smile
"Ik you need it" Killa said handing her a bag of weed and 4 packs of cigars
"Thank you" Lay said
Since the kids are upstairs sleep she could smoke all night to clear her mind.
"Can you tell liyah and Kayla to come out" Lay asked and Killa nodded going in the house
A couple seconds later liyah and Kayla came out the house. They all sat around the pool while lay rolled up
"You straight" Kayla asked her
"Yea once I get high ill be alright" Lay insured
"I just hope they ain't catch him" she mumbled to herself
In her mind she just knew that Jamari was in jail. And she felt bad because she know they gone charge him with that murder, and he ain't even pull the trigger.
Plus all the other chargers and warrants he had, that shit gone add up into years.
But at the same time she know jamari got away. Everybody kno that boy ain't gone stop running for no police and they damn sholl can't catch his fast skinny ass
Lay lit up the blunt and moved her feet around in the water. Boy if jamari locked up she gone have hell to deal with, his momma already inna hospital. She got his siblings, plus 3 extra kids

So it's the next morning, Christmas Eve and Jamari still haven't made it up. I talked to his momma and she was gonna call around town and see if he in jail or not. Which I think he is
"Come eat y'all" I yelled for the kids
The kids came to the table and I picked Jamarion up and sat him in his highchair. I gave everybody their plate then I went to sit down on the couch
My phone started ringing and I answered it seeing that it was jamari momma calling
"Hello" I answered
"Hey baby he not in jail. I just talked to him he otw home" she told me and I sighed in relief
"But he is all over the news so don't let the kids watch it" She said
"Yes ma'am" I said
"Ma, I'm so glad he not in there. I was so scared I didn't know how I was gone do this" I said
"Ik baby. But prepare yourself because when they catch him he going down" she told me
"Ouu baby my doctor here I gotta go, kiss all my babies for me" she said before hanging up
Ayeee. Yess fucking sirr my boy ain't locked up. I wanted to get up and celebrate but I can't cus I got my kids here. Matter fact im finna go outside and smoke
"Ty, when they done eating come get me out the back" I said and she nodded
I went to the backyard and grabbed my already rolled blunt from last night. I lit it up and started doing a lil dance

I heard the kids screaming in the house so I turned around and seen them all hugging jamari. I laughed and put my blunt out
Jamari walked out inna back and I hugged him so tight, then I started kissing all over his face.
"Thought I was in jail ain't it" he laughed
"That's not funny" I said
"You should've known better than that. But fr I gotta turn myself in" he said
"Ik" I pouted
"Might be gone for awhile but I ain't got turn myself in until Marion turn 1" he told me
"Or we can just gas up and left Cali" Jamari said and I looked at him
"You shouldn't go to jail I should. Im the one who killed them" I said
"What you did stays between me and you. You bet not tell them people you killed them" he said grabbing my face
"Jamari that's not fair. You did nothing wrong, so lettme just tell them the truth" I said
"The truth is I killed them. You was at the park with the kids" He told me
"Jam-"
"A'layah stfu. Just listen to me damn" he cut me off
"You was at the park with the kids. You didn't have the gun, you didn't kill nobody" he said looking me inna eyes
"Ard" he said and I nodded
"Ard na lay don't fuck up" he said kissing me
