Sae-Byeok's favorite painting was always The Starry Night. It was the first thing she talked to you about on your first date with her. There's a new art museum opening today with the very first Starry Night painting by Vincent van Gogh. You decided it'd be fun to surprise her for y'all's 1st anniversary.
"Good morning!" You say smiling as Sae-Byeok walks out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. You made her favorite breakfast and put it on the table. Sae-Byeok smiles and walks up to you. She puts her hand around your waist and hugs you, "Happy one year, my love," she says sleepily.
You grin, "Happy one year! I made your favorite breakfast," you point at the table and her face lightens up, "Pajeon?* You're the best." She kisses you on the cheek then walks to the table, "I have an idea for today," you say walking to the table. "What is it?" She asks. You smile, "It's a surprise."
She rolls her eyes. She hates surprises and you know it but it makes you happy when she's happy over what y'all are doing. "We can leave as soon as we're done," you yawn.
{10 minutes later}
As you're getting ready, you can see Sae-Byeok staring at you, "What?" You laugh. She chuckles softly, "Nothing, I'm just so lucky." You smile as you get your hair ready.
{at the art museum}
"No," Sae-Byeok says, "No way." You grin, "Yes way. They have The Starry Night here so I thought you'd like to see it." Her no facial expression turns into a soft smile as y'all walk into together holding hands.
Looking around, y'all finally make it to Van Gogh's paintings. You look at Sae-Byeok, she's staring at The Starry Night in amazement. Though her facial expressions aren't very noticeable, you can tell she's happy.
"You know," she says, "This painting always reminded me of you." You smile and look at her, "Really? Why?" She takes a breath, "It's beautiful, unique, has many meanings. Just like you. I love you y/n." She kisses and hugs you.
"I really am the luckiest person in the world."
