Sae-Byeok is not a jewelry person. She doesn't like wearing any form of it. When y'all first got together, she made sure you know it.

"And I don't wear jewelry," she says staring at you. You nod as you write that down.

~ back to present ~

You know she doesn't like jewelry but this gift was too special. You got her a special promise ring. It means a lot to you and you hope she likes it. 

"I'm home," she calls out closing the front door. You close the gift box immediately and stand up, "Hello my love!" You say. She gives you a kiss on the cheek and sets her stuff down, "You're up to something," she says. You laugh, "What? How?"

She smirks, "You're doing that same face you always do when you have a surprise for me." You gasp in defeat, "Ok fine, you win. But yes, I have something for you!" She go towards you and sits at the table. You hand her the small gift box. She looks up at you, "Is this-"

"Just open it," you say smiling. She looks at you, then looks down at the box. She opens it slowly and it opens to be a promise ring. "Surprise!" You say, "And before you say no, I KNOW you hate jewelry but this is super special because.." you show your hand that has the same promise ring on, "We have matching ones!"

Sae-Byeok looks at you, "So what is this? Some ring?" You laugh, "It's promise ring!" You say smiling. She can't help but smile softly, "Thanks, y/n," She puts it on her left ring finger, "Look now it looks like we're married," she smirks.

You blush and smile, "You love it," you say annoying her. She scoffs as she looks down grinning, "I do. It's special. Thank you."
