What's Going On and What Do You Have To Do With It?

I was being held by a giant... turtle?

I know exactly which New York City I'm in now. I'm in the dumb TV show, but I don't remember there being explosions in daylight. It was nighttime now, I bet these guys are just as confused as me.

I should keep my reincarnation thing on the down-low.

If I'm not wrong, I'm being held by the leader of the four, Leonardo. I looked behind me, that's Raphael. The second oldest.

"Is that who you're looking for? Your mom?"

I felt my eyes watering again. "I want my Mama and Dad," I whispered. Aqua peeked her head out of her shell. "We were taking Aqua to get a check-up and an explosion went off. My Mama picked me up and covered my face. My Dad was trying to find somewhere to take us but then I woke up on the road by myself." I explained. Aqua hissed and I chuckled, "I wasn't alone, I had you." I corrected myself.

"Do you know where your parents might be?"

I looked up at Leo and shook my head. "Maybe at home." I said quietly. Leo patted my head and sighed.

With each passing day, I turn more into a child and less like a teenager. I don't feel to good about that, I need my teenage mindset to think clearly.

"Let's take you home with us until we find your parents, okay? And our brother can patch you up."

I leaned my head on his plastron and petted Aqua's head. "Promise we'll fine my Mama and Dad?" I asked. A long pause. I mentally faced palmed, the seven-year-old in me needs to stop.

"For now, let's just get you somewhere safe, its obviously not safe out here."

I heard someone's phone ring. I looked down to see it was Leo's phone. He picked it up and walked over to the edge of the building we were on.

"What is it... Well, we found a kid with a little pet... No, she's alone... She's okay just needs a few bandaids... Did Donnie figure out what happened... Terrorism, the kid mentioned explosions... Yeah, let's get back it's been a long day."

I watched him sigh as he hung up. I looked at his phone and noticed it was shaped like a turtle shell. Damn, it's been a long while since I've seen this show. I don't even remember half the people in this show. What episode is this? Is it the aftermath of the series?

"What's that?" I asked. I might use this kid mindset to my advantage. I can't let it take me over but I do need to act like a child, a dumbass seven-year-old. I could use this to find out what time I'm in, what I need to look out for, and what specific stuff I need to know again. It's been what, eight, nine years now?

Mentally, I feel very old. Glad that physically, and slightly mentally, I'm seven.

I yawned. "This is a T-phone. Donnie made them for us to keep in contact with each other." Leo explained. I saw Raph come over beside him and cross his arms.

"Doesn't it seem a little weird? A random terrorist attack?" He stated. Leo looked over to his left to see the partially demolished building. "What are you saying?" he asked adjusting me to his hip. "The Kraang are still out there, they been trying to kill us for months, Leo. Now there's just a random nonalien, nonalien powered machine that attacks? And in broad daylight?" he said in a serious tone. Something about his expression looked both mad and distressed. Leo looked down at me, studying. He forced a smile and said, "Sweetie, can you stay right here while I and Raph talk?" he asked sitting me down.

I yawned and nodded. I tried to rub the sleep from my eyes, I was really tired. "Sleepy..." I said quietly. He ruffled my hair and said, "We'll leave in just a minute." he walked like three feet away from me.
