Realization hit yesterday. "Right...we stopped evil," sitting up slowly and took in a breath of air while squishing his face and then exhaling out until he saw someone hanging upside down from the ceiling.
"Good morning!" it was the spider hero hanging on the threads of webbing greeting Taehyung to a new day.
While the other male was having a process moment on why a hero is staying at his apartment. "Umm, morning Spiderman...why are you here?"
"Oh yeah, yesterday the others brought us to your place after a big fight and I—I stayed the night to rest." Jungkook couldn't wait for his crush to know his true self until Taehyung could say something else.
Only big eyes were close to the mask's white eye parts. Taehyung was starting to turn a slight red color on his face. "I'm fine with that but you're a bit close..."
Realization hit the hero and go done to where Taehyung was sitting on his bed in front of him. "Sorry, it's a thing I do because I have powers...of a spider and all."
"I get that and I have magic." small giggles slipped out as Jungkook joined in as well. Waiting for the moment of reveal. "So I promised you'll see who I am. Want me to show you now? Unless you want to wait–"
"I can wait a little longer. I need a shower and eat." his pouty lips were showing that making the other's heart skip a beat at how adorable his crush can be.
"I'll wait in the living room. Respecting your privacy."
"Thank you, Spidey. Once I'm done and ate the food then I'll be ready. You should clean up too." Taehyung swung his legs over to the floor and walked to the bathroom with a change of comfy clothes. Jungkook didn't want to be rude or anything because that would mean he would have to strip his suit off. "Umm, you know you'll be able to see my body if I took off my suit."
Just the thought hit pretty hard on the other male which made his face turn super red quickly. "Right!" in an embarrassing tone in his voice when he locked himself in the bathroom with his fresh clothes. "You can stay in your suit and make something for yourself to eat."
Jungkook couldn't wait but he desperately wanted to hug his crush so badly after that attack. So he did what Taehyung told him to do and make something to eat.
"I'll make us ramen and call it could in that." although the blonde was getting butterflies in his stomach, his appetite wasn't that strong. Moreover, he grabbed the packet of ramen, and pot, and started mixing the ingredients with the boiling water.
After that, he added the noodles, letting them boil within the flavors. Waiting for about 5 to 3 minutes to let it sit for a while until he saw that the noodles were done cooking. Turning off the heat to let it simmer and grabbed the pot holders to place the pot on the table. Holding the chopsticks in hand at the table. Sitting crisscrossed on the chair.
Jungkook having his first slurps of the day with his mask lifted above his nose. Steaming out the pot on the salty but yummy taste on his taste buds. "Man, I forgot how good this was and I wish I was sharing it with Tae."
On the other hand and speaking of Taehyung. The male was making sure all dirt and grim was off of him, brown curled hair and heart fluttering of being able to see who Spider-Man is finally.
"Okay, Tae Tae. You got this. Just accept for who he is under the mask and everything will be good. Don't kiss him randomly."
Placing his clothes on his body that are freshly clean and made sure nothing was harmed on his tan skin. Smiling and heart beating like crazy just to find out the hero's identity.
However, an odd image appeared in his head that involved webs and muscles in play.
Taehyung quickly covered his mouth as his cheeks turned bright pink.
Shaking his head just thinking about that of the hero. "Come on Tae Tae. You're better than this!"
In the meantime, the male opened the door and saw the hero cleaning up his space. Mask and hood up and trying not to make things weird for the reveal. Both of them had this weird tension between them now like it was something that was keeping them apart for a small bit.
Although Taehyung couldn't help but take the initiative to get close to the hero and randomly let out tears in the back muscles in front of him. "I'm sorry, you don't have to show yourself who you are," sniffles were between every word from him as Jungkook couldn't bare to see his crush being like, "you can leave now if you want-" comforting arms surrounded the pretty teary eyed male.
A soothing voice that feels familiar.
"It's fine Tae. As long we're alive, we can be in each other's lives."
Moreover, being in each other's lives in the first place when they met.
"Don't say sorry either and I told you I'll show who I am behind this mask because I care about you." Behind the mask, Jungkook smiled and hoped after this reveal will go well.
Maybe.
Depending on how his crush would react.
Taehyung pulled his body away and wipes those tears away. Getting rid of the saltiness and blinked a few times seeing the hero in front of him.
Giving a few sniffles and randomly slapped his face. Showing he wasn't crying anymore. "Okay!" a big smile appeared, "I'm ready when you are."
Honestly, that made Jungkook quietly giggle a little.
"Alright close your eyes first. There's also another thing I want to show you." Taehyung raised a brow wondering what the other surprise was going to be.
Either way, the male did close his eyes and that's when Jungkook set himself up by hanging his body upside down. Holding onto the web threads.
Although he could just pull the mask in three seconds which was boring. Jungkook wanted to be extra.
In any possible, he led his crush's hands on the messed-up mask and pulled it down slowly.
Taehyung's heart was beating super fast when he felt a pair of lips on his soft ones. Resisting wasn't an option as the kiss deepened more.
Until a small breath of air was caught and lips back to deepen the kiss. Fully taking that mask off. Finally being able open his eyes to the hero.
The hero is a shy guy with tattoos with great artistic skills. He was his hero crush the whole time.
Eyes widen and the feeling of tears of surprise brighten up. Being able to see Jungkook being the only one that saved him, even being in these crazy invents that's been happening recently.
No more hiding between them.
Holding back, Taehyung gazed at the blonde hair messy and those pretty doe eyes sparkling. Wonder if everything will be better or worse with them.
"Jungkook, before you say anything, I want to thank you for saving me and the others as well."
"You know, it had to be done since it's a hero's duty after all." Jungkook wanted to say that for a while now but cringe part over how. It became awkward and silent.
The silence was making them feel weird and giving off a sense that Taehyung wanted to do something. "So, that kiss?"
"Oh! Well, umm, I thought it was romantic to do it upside down with you..." the revealed hero was starting to become his usual shy self with his crush that he kissed, "it made a lot more sense in my head in fantasy land."
Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle at Jungkook for how cute he was. He pulled him in for another kiss which got more intense by the minute. Jungkook couldn't believe his crush was going all out with kissing him.
It felt like a great time for them as the truth was told to each other.
