Izuku was back at school again.

From Katsuki's perspective, Izuku seemed even more miserable than yesterday. Katsuki frowned. This was worrying. Was Izuku actually considering on killing himself like Katsuki told him to?

Katsuki made a frustrated grunt noise. It was so stupid of him to tell Izuku to kill himself. If he did jump off of a roof, Katsuki would've been charged into bullying someone into suicide. There would be no way Katsuki could be a hero after that!

But why should he even worry for the dumb kid? There probably wouldn't even be any proof Katsuki bullied him into suicide. Nowadays, most quirkless people just killed themselves, even they knew they were useless to this world. And plus, everyone hated Izuku. So Katsuki wouldn't be targeted.

He began to fidget with his pencil. This was a difficult decision.

He suddenly felt a bonk on his head.

His head snapped up to see his teacher, along with the rest of the students, staring at him.

"Bakugou, did you hit your head during the villain attack?" The teacher joked. The class chuckled. Katsuki scoffed, then began to focus on the rest of the lesson, trying hard to sweep the thoughts of Izuku away.

After the class, he stood up and walked to his teacher's desk to collect his homework.

He noticed Izuku already leaving the classroom.

Katsuki caught up to him and grabbed his shoulder.

Izuku turned his head to face Katsuki.

"Oi, Deku. Seriously, what's been going on with you? You look miserable. And that's saying something." He snarled.

Izuku stood there for a second, staring at Katsuki. Then he shook his head silently and turned back around.

But Katsuki wasn't giving up.

He grabbed both of Izuku's shoulders and spun him around to face him.

"Don't just shake your head and walk off, answer my question. Because if you're actually wanting to take my advice, then.." He grit his teeth in frustration. These pitiful words tasted disgusting on his tounge.

"Just-! Get a grip, I wasn't being serious.." Katsuki muttered. Izuku seemed taken aback.

Izuku stared at him silently.

Katsuki began to get impatient, and his lip curled. Then he let go of Izuku's shoulders.

"Whatever." He mumbled, shoving Izuku out of his way. Izuku watched him.

Katsuki was walking down the stairs. The stupid nerd won't even tell him whats going on.. but why? Izuku was always cheerful around Katsuki and trying to befriend him. Why was he suddenly acting like this?

Katsuki felt a tinge of guilt inside of him.

Damn it.. why am I acting like this..? I shouldn't care about the nerd! But ever since that stupid villain.. I can't get rid of this feeling inside of me. I hate it! Katsuki thought, kicking a rock out of his way while walking out of the school building.

Izuku had also eventually left the school building. He was still confused why Katsuki would ask him a question like that.

He must've been planning something.. yeah. He's trying to trick Izuku into thinking he cares for him.. then maybe the public would start to recognize Katsuki as a 'hero' for befriending the quirkless kid everyone hated.

Instead of returning home, he kept walking into the city.

Stupid Kacchan.. stupid mom! Stupid, stupid, stupid! He thought.

He needed time away from them. But it's not like either of them would care if he was gone.

Right?

He walked deeper into downtown, not realizing where he was even walking.

He made a turn into a more empty spot of the town. He turned into an alleyway, where there was a large dumpster against the wall.

He sat down besides it, hidden away from the crowd.

He curled up and placed his head on his knees.

He noticed on the ground one of his backpack straps, with an All Might key chain.

He frowned. He didn't even realize there was a key chain on his backpack.

He grabbed it, and began to pull it off.

He was weak, so it took some effort. But eventually, it popped off and he threw it against the opposite wall.

He then sat on the ground a bit longer, then he felt hot tears fall from his eyes.

He let the tears drip down his face and make tear streaks.

Until he felt a hand press against his shoulder.

His head shot up, and saw a man whose entire head besides his mouth was scar tissue. It was disturbing to look at. Izuku edged away slightly.
They were crouching down besides him with his hand on Izuku's shoulder.

Izuku stared at the man, paralyzed.

"Hello there. I couldn't help but hear your.. er.. distressed noises besides this dumpster while I was taking a stroll." The man said. Izuku didn't reply.

"..May I ask why you seem so upset?" The man asked, sitting down.

Izuku sniffed, wiping his nose with his sleeve. "I just.." Izuku inhaled deeply to prepare himself to pour his heart onto a stranger.

"My entire life.. I was quirkless. And everyone hates me. They always tell me I would be better off dead.. But I still had hope.. for becoming a hero. Until I met a certain hero, which I looked up to.." Izuku took another shaky breath.

"I asked them if I could be a hero.. and I expected them to be encouraging, but I was given the opposite. Even though on camera.. they seem like the best hero out there.. but since he was talking to me in person.." Izuku shrugged slightly, then said nothing else.

There were a few moments of silence until the man spoke.

"..Surely being quirkless isn't the only reason everyone doesn't like you?" The man asked. Izuku hesitated, thinking.

"They usually think I'm a stalker.. because I have a notebook. I write information about people, and heroes, like, about their quirks. But I'm not a stalker..!" Izuku said, grasping the front of his uniform.

"As expected." They muttered. Izuku looked at them.

"Heroes.. they only act like good people to people with quirks.. or on camera. I bet they think that people like you.." The man poked Izuku in the chest.

"Are not worth in this world."

Izuku stared at them.

"It's unfortunate the way you had to find out the truth of heroes.. but.." The man exhaled.

"All you wanted was to help them. And yet, they simply waved their ignorant hands away from you.. especially when you needed help the most." The man said.

"But don't worry, I can offer you a new chance. If you join me, I can show you a home with other people who have been hurt by heroes or from the way they are. We take care of each other. And we all have one thing in common. Our hatred for heroes. If you join us, we can help you destroy the heroes, starting with All Might." The man said.

Izuku got a glint in his eyes.

The man stood up, and reached his hand out for Izuku to take.

"Join us."

Izuku thought for a moment.

Should he take this man's hand? He didn't even know him. But.. he was the only one who seemed to understand him. And he was offering a new home! Inko and Katsuki probably wouldn't even care if he just went missing..

Then Izuku grinned wickedly. He took the man's hand and allowed himself to be lifted from the ground.

A sudden purple warp gate materialized in front of them, and they walked inside of it together.
