as you slowly opened your eyes, your vision was covered by a person who's smiling at you while wearing a pink party hat.

"happy birthday my de-" but before he can finish his sentence, you bump your forehead into his that made him yelp in pain.

he rubbed his forehead before chuckling slightly "so mean~"

you glare at him before seating up "can you not do that?" you sigh as you stand up and push your brother out of your bedroom to change clothes to go to school.

"remember to go h-" you cut your brothers' words again by slamming the door closed before fixing your bedroom.

just like what your brother said, today is your dear birthday meaning one more step closer to death. i don't really know.

it's not that you hate your birthday or something, it's just that you'll receive tones of (f/f) and other things you like and you'll probably jump because of joy even though it doesn't show that much.

a birthday party is a pain in the ass. loud noises, trash everywhere, crowded people is a big no-no. especially if you don't even know how to socialize when it comes to new human beings.

plus, you don't need those kinds of birthday parties to celebrate your day of birth. spending the things you like is enough.

you went out of your bedroom and walk your way to the kitchen, that the lights were off and of course- you'll know what happened.

ones you open the light your family came with your mother and father holding a cake, your brother who has the party pooper endings up the confetti around you while your grandparents were at the side holding their gifts for you.

"happy birthday (n/n)-chan!" your mother greeted with your father who's smiling.

you sigh and a small smile appeared on your face, this is the kind of spending stuff you like, just a simple party with your family.
