Izuku woke up sometime later, he opened his eyes to bright lights, groaning in annoyance as his eyes got used to it.

"Izuku?" He hears his mothers voice.

"M-Mom?" Izuku asks, turning his head to the direction the voice came from.

"I'm here son." Inko said as she walked up to his bed and sat on the stool. "You're fine, they've healed your injures." She tells him.

"In-injuries?" Izuku asks.

"Yeah, the ones you got in the park from Katsuki and his two friends." Inko tells him.

"Yo-you've got it a-all wr-wrong mom." Izuku says trying to defend them.

"There's no point in lying Kid. We have recordings of them beating you up for proof." A voice foreign to Izuku says. Izuku looks around to see a man wearing all black tactical gear. "Hey I'm Agent 5, but everyone calls me Fox." The man says.

"Izuku, why did you always lie to me about you being beaten up and getting injured?" Inko asks.

"Because... because then you'd stop talking to Aunt Mitsuki and... and.." Izuku starts to sob, unable to complete the sentence.

"Izuku, it would have been alright. Mitsuki doesn't matter, she isn't family like you are." Inko tells him as she hugs the boy. "Now, these nice people who saved you, they have a question for you. They've discussed things with me but I want your answer to the question as well."

"Now, Izuku. What would you say if we said we could help you become a hero?" Fox asks Izuku.

"Wh-what's the ca-catch? What do I have to do in return?" Izuku asks.

"Quite perceptive, this kid." Fox chuckles. "Well, the cost of this is two-fold, first off, we train you for 50 weeks a year, meaning you get to see your mother two weeks for the whole year. You'll be trained and educated here as well. The second one, well, to put it bluntly, the chances of you dying in the process that you will have to undergo to get a 'quirk' are pretty high, about 50%, at least that is what the calculations say, that means that practically, it would be much higher than that. But undergoing the procedure is a choice the future you will have to make. Something for Future you to worry about."

Izuku tilts his head slightly, thinking a bit. "I'll do it." Izuku answers.

Inko gave a small smile. "Why did I even think you'd answer differently." She says, ruffling Izuku's hair.

"Alright, Mrs. Midoriya, I'd like you to come with me, you can bring Izuku along as well. There is some paperwork I'd like to hand over. After that is done, you two can go back home." Fox tells them, as he adjusts his vest, getting ready to leave.

"Can-can I get a moment with Izuku?" Inko asks.

"Sure. I'll be waiting outside. Once you're done let me know so I can take you to the boss." Fox says, exiting the room.

"Izuku, are you sure you want to do this?" Inko asks him.

Izuku simply nods. "It would be better than staying at Aldera and getting bullied day in and day out." He answers.

Inko nods. "Alright, it's going to be hard for both of us but I think we can live through it." She says smiling at the boy. Izuku hugs his mother before hopping off his bed.

"Let's go, mom. Mr. Fox is waiting for us." Izuku says as he and Inko walk out of the room, following Fox.

Stopping in front of a door, Fox knocks at it thrice. "Boss, it's Fox." He says as the door slides open.

"Why am I not surprised that he said yes?" Abigail says, smiling at the trio. "Hello Izuku, I'm Abigail Brand, I'm the one that runs this place. How are you feeling?"

"F-fine." Izuku answers.

"Good to know." Abigail says, handing a file to Inko. "These are the papers that I'll need you to go over. You can take your time with it. It details everything that we had discussed, and a bit more." She then hands Inko a pager. "Press this when you're done reading, Fox will come and transport you back to Peak. But let me warn you, once you sign that, Izuku will officially start his training under SWORD."

Inko nods. "I figured that much. Also what about expenses? As in what would I have to pay for him being trained here and all?"

"Nothing, nothing at all. We are funded by the government, besides we are basically preparing Izuku to be experimented on, so we won't be expecting anything from you." Abigail answers. "Instead, we'll be giving you a certain amount each month so you can live better. We'll also be relocating you to a safer location as well."

"Wh-what?" Inko exclaims, shocked.

'You heard me, and don't worry we do this for all our agents. It's the least we can do for keeping their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and spouses away from them." Abigail explains. "Fox drop them to their house and make sure they're alright before you come back."

Fox salutes the woman as he gets ready to teleport the mother and son duo back home.

"I know it's too early, but thank you." Inko says before they are teleported back home.
