Warnings: swearing

As you left the once shared home behind, you decided to call your trusted friend. You w̶a̶n̶t̶e̶d̶ needed comfort. With shaky hands you dialed the said number. Placing the device near your ear; patiently waiting for them to answer, as you reluctantly walked deeper into the darkness. Ringing once. Ringing twice. Ringing for the third time-

"Hey Y/n, why are you calling me at this time?" a groggy voice said.

"I'm sorry did I wake you up. I'll just hang up-" you spoke in an apologetic voice.

"Don't worry I wasn't sleeping. Now what's up?" they lowly spoke, trying to hide the fact that they were indeed sleeping.

"I- can I come over please." you asked as crystals started dwelling up in your eyes, threatening to fall.

"Whaaa!?! At this time? What happened? You know what never mind tell me when you get here," they spoke now wide awake, not failing to notice how your voice quivered.

You faintly speaking a soft 'thank you' before ending the call. You looked at your phone one last time before completely shutting it off.

Now you aimlessly walked through the eerie sidewalk, with a destination in mind. The few street lamps did little to no help illuminating your pathway. Few cars would pass by you. Within those cars there were people who also had a destination to get to, whether it be parties, their families, or an empty house.

As you maneuvered your way through the dark streets, you arrived at your destination. The house was brightly illuminated, signaling the presence of the said friend. On your way to the door, you contemplated whether you should actually knock or not. Did you want to bother your friend? Were you going to burden them by coming over? Maybe they don't want-

A sudden contact snapped you out of your thoughts. You looked up and saw your best friend's hand retreating back to his side.

"Y/n are you just gonna stand there? Come inside moron" the said friend spoke while leaning on the door.

"Oh yeah sorry about that Rindou" you spoke.

You made your way to Rindou's living room, while he got you y/f/d. You made yourself comfortable on the white sofa and patiently waited for the mullet haired man to return.

"Ight so tell me what happened. Does it involve my idiotic brother?" the younger Haitani questioned while handing you y/f/d and sitting besides you.

As you pour out your feelings of the recent events, Rindou attentively listened to you. He didn't dare to interrupt you; he knew that you were hurting. Even he could tell that the relationship between you and his older brother was disintegrating. Rindou knew that Ran was stupid, but to think that he would stoop that low. It aggravated him to think that his brother dared to trash a perfectly good marriage.

While you cried, Rindou showered you with hugs that you longed for during the last few months. You wish it was Ran holding you. You desperately wished this day was just a nightmare. Exhaustion soon took over your body, and your body shut down after the terrible day you had suffered from.

Sighing, Rindou carried you to a guest room and gently tucked you in the bed. Sadness took over him. It was painful to see you cry over his foolish brother. It was hell seeing you so broken. With one final look at you, he leaned towards you and kissed your head.

"Please give my princess sweet dreams," he spoke to no one in particular.
